  1. Leverkusen were awesome once again and they really should have scored more goals against Roma with all the chances they created. Their unbeaten record will go down in history as it now seems that they will remain unbeaten in all competitions come the end of the season. Leverkusen's toughest matches on paper seem to be behind them. Leverkusen are such an entertaining side to watch, it will be a shame if they dont manage to hold onto their best players over the summer.
  2. Another sublime performance by Bayer Leverkusen as they won 2-0 away to Italian giants AS Roma. Leverkusen have once again confirmed what an excellent team they are. In all honesty, Leverkusen should have defeated Roma by a higher score margin than 2-0, given the numerous dangerous chances that Leverkusen created. Star player and wunderkid Wirtz took his goal well to give Leverkusen the lead. Then a powerful rocket of a shot from outside the area by Andrich sealed the 2-0 win. Leverkusen were excellent all evening and Alonso's player rotation policy at Leverkusen has worked brilliantly this season. Alonso has fully taken advantage of the strength in depth that this Leverkusen team has. He has also been able to rest certain players when he has needed to during this process. With this win, Leverkusen remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, which is an absolutely incredible feat. Moreover, their toughest fixtures seem behind them. Leverkusen should be able to avoid defeat once again in the return match in Leverkusen, when they host Roma and the German team should advance to the final. AS Roma 0-2 Bayer Leverkusen
  3. A superb and deserved win for Dortmund over PSG. Dortmund looked so hungry and up for it. They created many chances and the pace in the team was a huge asset for them in this match. Sancho was definitely the man of the match. This was by far Sancho's best performance for Dortmund in a long time. His dribbling skills, pace and creativity was excellent. Adeyemi's speed also caused the PSG defence problems all evening. But also at the back for Dortmund, both Schlotterbeck and Hummels had impressive performances and they were as solid as ever. Fullkrug though was ultimately the hero as his well taken winning goal, once again confirmed the quality striker that he is. Mbappe tried his best for PSG in this match and we saw moments of brilliance from him, but in the end Dortmund put in a top performance that earned them the win. The return match in Paris promises to be as intriguing as ever. Dortmund 1-0 PSG
  4. This was a very entertaining match. Plenty of action and both sides created chances but I felt that Bayern edged it. It's a shame Bayern didn't hold on to their 2-1 lead, as they now face a very difficult task of getting the better of Real in Madrid, if they want to make the final. Leroy Sane and Musiala were excellent in their attacking play and were constantly causing headaches for the Real Madrid defence. Laimer also had a very good game in midfield breaking up the play and winning the ball for Bayern. Vinicius Junior was the stand-out player for Real Madrid. His pace and excellent play was too much for Bayern defender Kim Min-jae, who had a poor match. Bayern will be hoping that the excellent de Ligt is fit enough to start the return leg in Madrid. Toni Kroos was also class in midfield for Real Madrid as his passing was impressive for most of the match. The return match in Madrid promises to be just as exciting as these 2 European heavyweights battle it out once again. Bayern Munich 2-2 Real Madrid
  5. Hoffenheim 1-3 Leipzig Dortmund 2-1 Augsburg Wolfsburg 2-1 Darmstadt Bremen 1-1 Gladbach Stuttgart 2-2 Bayern Köln 1-2 Freiburg Union 2-1 Bochum Frankfurt 2-2 Leverkusen Heidenheim 2-2 Mainz
  6. Hamburg 2-2 St Pauli Düsseldorf 3-1 Nürnberg Fürth 1-0 Braunschweig Rostock 1-2 Karlsruhe Osnabrück 1-2 Schalke Lautern 2-1 Magdeburg Hannover 2-2 Paderborn Elversberg 1-1 Hertha BSC Wehen 1-3 Kiel
  7. Bayern will no doubt rotate against Frankfurt in their upcoming Bundesliga match, with an eye on the crucial 1st leg semi-final match against Real Madrid in Munich. I am personally hoping that Bayern get a win at home against Real Madrid, because I think that even a draw might not be enough for them to make the final. Real Madrid nearly always win on home soil in the Champions League.
  8. Hertha BSC 2-2 Hannover St Pauli 3-1 Rostock Paderborn 2-1 Elversberg Kiel 2-2 Lautern Braunschweig 1-2 Hamburg Schalke 1-2 Düsseldorf Magdeburg 2-1 Osnabrück Nürnberg 2-2 Karlsruhe Wehen 1-2 Fürth
  9. Bochum 2-2 Hoffenheim Bayern 2-1 Frankfurt Leipzig 2-1 Dortmund Freiburg 2-1 Wolfsburg Augsburg 2-1 Bremen Leverkusen 2-2 Stuttgart Gladbach 2-1 Union Mainz 2-1 Köln Darmstadt 1-2 Heidenheim
  10. I'd like to see Burnley stay up, as far as the northern clubs are concerned, I do have a soft spot for them. Burnley's 4-1 thrashing of bottom club Sheffield United was a much needed win, but they need to find some more wins if they are to avoid the drop. Hopefully Burnley stay up, but I'd be happy to see Luton Town go down with Sheffield United. I don't mind Forrest, but I'd rather they get relegated instead of Burnley. I don't think Everton or Brentford will go down, they look like the strongest of the sides down at the bottom in my opinion.
  11. Escalante pulled a goal back for Cadiz, but only a minute later, Portu extended Girona's lead by scoring their 4th goal. Girona 4-1 Cadiz
  12. Dovbyk scores Girona's 3rd goal, as he controlled a cross and then shot the ball past the keeper and into the corner of the net. That's Dovbyk's 18th La Liga goal of the season and he remains the leading scorer in the Spanish La Liga. Girona 3-0 Cadiz
  13. Ivan Martin makes it 2-0 for Girona with a clever left footed shot that found the back of the net. Girona 2-0 Cadiz
  14. Girona are all over Cadiz here and they took the lead in the 9th minute through a header by Eric Garcia. Dovbyk also put the ball in the back of the net, but his effort wasn't awarded because he was offside. Girona 1-0 Cadiz
  15. Frankfurt 1-1 Augsburg Wolfsburg 2-1 Bochum Köln 2-1 Darmstadt Hoffenheim 1-2 Gladbach Heidenheim 1-3 Leipzig Union 1-3 Bayern Bremen 1-3 Stuttgart Dortmund 2-2 Leverkusen Freiburg 2-2 Mainz
  16. Nürnberg 1-2 Paderborn Elversberg 1-2 Schalke Düsseldorf 2-1 Fürth Lautern 1-1 Wehen Osnabrück 1-1 Braunschweig Hamburg 2-1 Kiel Karlsruhe 1-1 Hertha BSC Hannover 1-2 St Pauli Rostock 1-1 Magdeburg
  17. Marseille win 1-0 on the night and 4-2 on penalties. Marseille 1-0 Benfica (2-2 on aggregate but Marseille won 4-2 on penalties)
  18. Luis Henrique scores the winning penalty to send Marseille into the semi-finals of the Europa League!
  19. Antonio Silva's penalty is saved by Pau Lopez! Marseille just need to score their final penalty to advance
  20. Kokcu scores his penalty as he shoots it into the left corner of the net! Correa scores his penalty for Marseille!
