  1. Oh dear, Scotland 2 nil down after less than 20 minutes played. They looked lively to start with, but Germany's power play has been just too much for them so far.
  2. Musiala scores Germany's 2nd goal!! 2-0 Germany! That was a lovely strike by Musiala! Germany 2-0 Scotland
  3. I selected Wirtz in my team, it looks like that decision is already paying off!
  4. GOAL!! Wirtz gives Germany the lead with a lovely shot from outside the area! Germany 1-0 Scotland
  5. I see, so you can't replace a starter who has played badly during the round, with a sub who has already played in the round and say played better. It's only if that sub hasn't played yet in the round, that you can bring him on into the starting 11/the team. Right? Thanks for explaining the formation situation. I've already selected my team, but I take it i can also change the formation during the round of matches right, so I don't think there are any issues there.
  6. So I've selected Mittelstadt for today's game, if he has a stinker, I can replace him with a sub and his poor rating wont count for this round of matches right? So the points are judged by the round of matches, right? Also how do I change formation? They've given me a 4-3-3 formation, can I change it, if so how?
  7. Just a question, once the squad has been selected, you can't change the players at any point during the tournament, right? Also I know today is a matchday, but if I select players from Germany in my squad, will their performance today count for me?
  8. This is a great opening match. Germany should win, but Scotland's team always play with passion and their fans are always a joy to listen to. Germany seem to be in form and their team looks good. Scotland have some excellent players, but obviously they don't have the strength in depth that Germany have. Germany will likely win in front of their expectant fans in Munich, but what an entertaining opening match this should be.
  9. Why are the likes of Mudryk in midfield then? There are many other examples like him as well. It doesn't really make sense.
  10. Ignore my whinging I just take this too seriously sometimes
  11. Why is Tsygankov classed as a forward, when the two positions he ever plays in are either as a right winger or as an attacking midfielder? I wish this was more accurate, ah well, still plenty of other midfielders to choose from for my team I guess.
  12. I think Harry Kane will finish up as leading scorer. But watch out for Dovbyk, he could be scoring a fair few goals at the Euros.
  13. He is a really talented young player, this is really good news for Fortuna Dusseldorf.
  14. Friday 14th June, 2024 Group A Germany 3-1 Scotland, 20.00 Saturday 15th June, 2024 Group A Hungary 2-2 Switzerland, 14.00 Group B Spain 2-1 Croatia, 17.00 Italy 1-0 Albania, 20.00 Sunday 16th June, 2024 Group C Slovenia 1-2 Denmark, 17.00 Serbia 1-3 England, 20.00 Group D Poland 1-2 Netherlands, 14.00 Monday 17th June, 2024 Group E Romania 1-3 Ukraine, 14.00 Belgium 2-1 Slovakia, 17.00 Group D Austria 1-2 France, 20.00 Tuesday 18th June, 2024 Turkey 2-1 Georgia, 14.00 Portugal 3-1 Czech Republic, 20.00
  15. Belgium look like another very strong side, who will fancy their chances of going very far at these Euros. Just the forwards alone, with players like Openda, Lukaku, Doku, Trossard and this years revelation Bakayoko, is enough to make one's mouth water. But with the help in midfield of De Bruyne, Onana, Vermeeran and Tielemans, it looks like Belgium will be one of the stronger sides at Euro 2024.
  16. It's a big blow for Austria that both Xaver Schlager and David Alaba are injured and that as a result, they won't play at Euro 2024. Xaver Schlager is an excellent hard working midfielder, whose work-rate in midfield has played a crucial role in helping Austria succeed in recent years. While David Alaba is one of the best defenders in the world. However, Austria should still do well, as they still have a very good side.
  17. I think the Czechs should at least make the Round of 16. They have a very good team and should finish ahead of Turkey and Georgia in their group. Schick is always a danger upfront for them.
  18. Poor opposition in the Bundesliga? You're having a laugh. The Bundesliga has many tough sides and yeah, even though Kane plays for a top side like Bayern, he still deserves credit for scoring the great goals that he has scored. You demonstrate your cluelessness when you try to claim that Bundesliga sides are poor.
  19. Group A Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Scotland Group B Spain, Italy, Croatia, Albania Group C England, Denmark, Serbia, Slovenia Group D - France, Netherlands, Austria, Poland Group E Belgium, Ukraine, Slovakia, Romania Group F Portugal, Czech Republic, Turkey, Georgia Top goal scorer Kane Winner England
  20. This Portugal side looks very strong, I can see them going very far. They look strong in all positions. Cristiano Ronaldo could lead them to another Euro triumph, just like he did in 2016.
