    Armstrong scored a crucial opening goal, the defence should have done better there though. This game is far from over, it will be interesting to see how Leeds react in the most important game of their season. Leeds United 0-1 Southampton

    Valencia take the lead away to Celta Vigo! After brilliant work by Correia down the left flank, his cross aimed towards the unmarked Almeida was got to by Celta defender Dominguez first and his attempted clearance ended up as an own goal. Celta Vigo 0-1 Valencia

    The Dutch squad looks very strong to me, there's plenty of talent there. I wouldn't be surprised if they went very far in the competition.

    Imagine how many more points United would have had if they actually had a decent keeper? They really need to replace Onana over the summer, he is just not good enough at this level.

    United deserved this win to be honest. Bruno Fernandes and Garnacho were excellent with their creativity and their runs, while Martinez was a rock in defence for them. Man City on the other hand were very disappointing. It was only really Doku, who came on in the 2nd half, who was brilliant for them. Doku's pace and dribbling skills gave the United players plenty of headaches and it was little surprise that he was the player to score Man City's goal. However, United played excellently as a team today and I hope they keep ten Hag. Of course finishing 8th in the league table will be hugely disappointing for United fans, but I think that you have to give ten Hag more than one season at the club. It's a long term project he has in mind and I can see United finding a lot more success under him in the future.

    Well deserved win for Leverkusen, they've been a joy to watch this season. They've done the double! I am so happy for Alonso and the Leverkusen players, it's been a historic season for them, one they might never repeat.

    Frimpong did all the hard work there, dribbling past the goalkeeper, but his cross left a lot to be desired.

    Puchacz tries a long range left footed effort but it flies just wide of the post. Lautern are trying here, but Leverkusen are so well organised.

    Leverkusen controlling the match even though they playing with one man less than Kaiserlautern. Kaiserslautern have given a decent account of themselves to be fair, but Leverkusen are just that much stronger.

    Great goal by Xhaka. He has had an excellent season. I can't argue with the sending off to be honest. That was a dangerous challenge by Kossounou.

    Bayer Leverkusen are starting with Schick, Andrich, Hofmann and Hradecky. They've chosen their best available line-up in my opinion. This is the line-up they should have started with against Atalanta in the Europa League final. There is a very strong spine to this team, Andrich adds so much to the midfield and Schick is the ideal scoring outlet that any team needs. Hofmann is also excellent and compliments Wirtz. I expect Leverkusen to win this final relatively comfortably, all respect to Kaiserslautern.

    Allofs doesn't sound optimistic about Tzolis staying from what he has said. But hopefully you guys can afford the option to buy him. Because if Dusseldorf don't buy him with that first option you have on him, there are plenty of Bundesliga clubs who will try and buy him on a long term contract themselves.

    Great performance by Dusseldorf, @Tommy you must be delighted with that performance. I am sure they will give just as good a performance at home in the return leg.
