  1. I always win the debate against them because I choose to follow facts and science. They just don't want to accept it so they stretch their own agenda with their own conspiracies that don't make sense to begin with. I don't even bother criticizing them anymore. It's not worth it. This pandemic has exposed stupidity in the world. It's much higher than I thought.
  2. I have a couple of friends that don't want to believe science. They are my friends so I try to be as polite as I can with them, but it drives me crazy because they insist with these unproven conspiracies. One of them told me that Ebola is contagious if you're asymptomatic. I sent him government pages that say it clearly isn't and it's only contagious when symptoms arrive and he still chooses to believe it. Another one claims that the vaccine is a farce because they had the cure long ago. Madness that right around the corner there is someone with stupid conspiracies and yet we don't realize it. Best to just avoid all vaccine discussion. The only way anti-vaxxers will possibly get their vaccine is to mandate it. Don't let people on flights, don't let people go to work, etc. Qantas already said that they won't let people board without their vaccine. I expect other airlines to follow.
  3. There isn't a way to counter anti vaxers I'm afraid. There are just too many idiots in this world. They'll bring up their own conspiracy theories or how it was "fast tracked" with no evidence on their part. Seen plenty of it and have some friends who are the same. I simply just try to avoid discussing it with them as they are hopeless.
  4. Just a friendly - but a good start for Succar off the bench. Gets a goal. @nudge
  5. Best Crash game since the Naughty Dog era. The only one who can throw down with the others. However, it's also hard as shit to 100%. Good luck!
  6. A wake up call for Peru as well, who are in the transition between the first and second wave. Thankfully we finally agreed to a vaccine deal though. Not like Bolsonaro who thinks it will turn people into alligators.
  7. Excited! Awesome signing for both parties.
  8. 100%. He was forced to read lines, you could hear it in his way of speaking. Sounds like a priest.
  9. More lies. Also, just me who think his way of talking here sounds like the Pope?
  10. Kluiverth Aguilar travelling to the UK next month and not in June like planned. Hope he goes to Girona to be honest, but my best guess is Lommel SK will be the first step for him.
  11. They could be valid or not, but there's 2 extremes: either they've been to the USA once and it was a trip to Disney World, or they haven't even been to the corner of his own house. As someone who has lived in both a third world and a first world, I can tell you I feel I have more opportunities in Canada but I'm much much happier in Peru, which I think is a pretty important factor too. Here I also must have a car to go to places, and I don't like driving, but the public transport is god awful. They'll be discriminated here as well. My family has been discriminated many times for being Latino. I think each have advantages and disadvantages.
  12. Fair enough a lot of democracies have corruption but I can assure you Colombia is stable for the most part. They still have some development issues but overall it doesn't deserve to live off it's past reputation as it's simply one of the best countries in South America today.
  13. Actually @nudge I did say something about wanting to chase the dollar. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I was talking about it a bit. Won't deny it. Though my 2nd point is still my biggest gripe!
  14. Yeah that's true, but I'm not knocking the people who actually do move to the USA though. It's more on how much they harp on about the USA and how much they hate their own country. They do this in most third world countries and isn't just a South American thing.
  15. They have a lot of great achievements to date and became the world power for a reason though mate. Sure they have had a lot of issues in the past but what country doesn't?
  16. Cherry picking much my man? Colombia still has a few cartel problems but they are all out on the west coast for the most part. Today Colombia has become the 3rd most stable country in South America after Uruguay and Chile.
  17. Except I'm not talking about the past. I'm talking about now. Colombia's past is terrible, Peru's past is terrible. USA's past is absolutely glorious. When I moved back to Peru in 2016 some of the rich people just looked at me funny and asked me why I would live there and how the USA is the best country in the world, probably because they've been to Disney World once in their life. It's the sort of thing that irks me out. Also just a correction to a reply to @nudge, Argentina's peso has lost a ton of value so it's not really a valid point. That doesn't change that there is plenty of better countries where you can chase the dollar. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, most of Europe, etc. And to clear something up I love the USA as a country, but I hate the people that ape them.
  18. Or the American dream, as there's a dozen countries that provide more assurance and quality of life. To start off, you can move north of the border or hell even to Argentina/Uruguay.
  19. I can assure to you that Colombia is absolutely a better democracy than the USA now. As is Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. Yet we have knobheads in the continent who are desperate to move over there. I would add Peru into that but our presidential situation has also been a mess so it's not really valid anymore!
  20. Sorry if I'm barging in unwanted with this tweet, but I'm posting it because I absolutely despise that South Americans will go out to say there is no democracy in their country yet they want to flee to the USA as if they were any better. I'm sure @McAzeem can preach on this one.
  21. I absolutely love how we can't like, retweet or reply to that but we're allowed to quote it. Twitter just wants us to tear him to bits
  22. I feel for Americans here. Their pride has been spat on. I've seen locals claim that "the American dream is dead". Once the greatest country in the world has become an absolute clown show and resulted to things that should never happen regularly in a country of their power. I really hope other people stop aping them now. I also hope some order is restored in the next few years as it's a shame seeing such a glorious and proud nation fall to this. Especially being just north of the border.
  23. I'm sure he was, but even if I let my dog hunt those may have been Canadian Geese, which are known to be aggresive. I couldn't tell cos of the darkness but those geese you do not want to mess with especially in that number!
