  1. It was Pizarro who said it, and I believe it because he loves his country, he just hates our federation. And Tapia has been linked to bigger clubs by the Spanish press.
  2. Pizarro will recommend Tapia to Bayern. I like Tapia but it does beg the question: is it nationalism? Tapia is fantastic but I think Ndidi is better and isn't at a club as powerful as Chelsea or City for example. I would prefer Real Madrid or Atletico, but it's interesting nevertheless.

Sports Journalism and 3D Animation. Sports Journalism I had some focus in, but 3D animation I dozed off completely. That's partially why I'm dubious, so I plan to work on my attention span in some way before applying to anything. And yeah I'm aware, that's why I plan to study for it, because I definitely need a masters degree to get a job there.

Seismology was my only option regarding a science when I was told to pick a career back in high school. Since I was about 10 or 11 I've loved researching what causes earthquakes and tsunamis. I remember I spent hours looking at what happened in Japan back in 2011. I'm not too bothered at sciences but Seismology is one that definitely has interested me for a long time.

I am not sure if that was an intended pun, but to most of my family it was indeed 'earth-shattering'
  7. @Dr. Gonzo The PL should consider this really. I think having the referee talk like in Rugby isn't family friendly enough, but having audios after the game would explain a lot. That said I don't think it would justify many decisions. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=conmebol+var

I am strongly considering going back to University to study Seismology. I wasn't keen on the idea for studying as most of the things I wanted to be I could work my way up, but Seismology is a science and requires studies. The reason I'm having doubts is because I have a very low attention span and thats why I didn't complete college the last time.
  9. CONMEBOL has actually released their VAR audios in qualifying, which helped explain some decisions, but some are still very questionable. If anyone understands Spanish.
  10. I'll be annoyed at a certain wrong decision without VAR, but to be fair it's better for the referee to make an honest mistake with his own eyes on the pitch than the referee watching the replay 4-5 times and still getting it wrong.
  11. I agree that it needs fixing, there is ways to make it work. However, I don't necessarily trust the people in charge of the sport.
  12. That's a very fair point, and again FIFA might live with the South American mentality that America is one continent. 1986 and 1994 was perhaps the exception to that, as 1986 was originally to be hosted in Colombia, and 1994 in the USA.
  13. They were better before it. Sure there were more referee errors but there was soul in the game. I think VAR is here to stay though sadly, so we'll just have to deal with it.
  14. Thats a great picture of Boris btw.
  15. I hope Uruguay/Argentina win but 2026 was a North American World Cup which by all means could be similar to having the tournament in South America. I'm not sure if FIFA counts North America and South all as one, but it sure seems like it. Before Brazil in 2014, it had been 20 years since they were in this part of the world. I do hope we have a world cup in Uruguay/Argentina though, not just because I think they are good choices, but also because South American teams struggle in European World Cups.

Works now, just came back I think.
  20. Jefferson Farfan returns home! I think at the right time, as his career abroad was likely over after no longer being super reliable thanks to injuries.
  21. 2 games today. Alianza Atletico vs Carlos Stein Alianza Universidad vs Cusco FC
  22. I know. What I am saying is the insane squad quality of 2014 was not to be matched, so there was probably extra confidence from his side. They did win the Confederations Cup with a second team after all.
