@Dr. Gonzo @Mel81x My latest A song for my local club. Forge FC (rival team) fans actually attacked me for some of the lyrics

It's all of South America + Spain who has their April Fools on December 28th, but yes here it's very easy to say anything and have people believe it.

It's called "Dia de los inocentess" which translates to "innocents day". In Peru, we don't know the existence of "April Fools", so I am taking advantage. One of my mates in my group chat said a young Peruvian is going to Ajax, and it's now rebounding on the Peruvian press. It's become so easy to sell whitesmoke.

I’ve never lied dude, or rarely do. It’s just you who doesn’t want to believe me, even with proof presented.

April Fools on Twitter is awesome. I can lie about a Peruvian transfer and my followers from Peru won't get it, cos as far as we're concerned, our April Fools is in December.
  8. The only country that seems to have a wide array of Anti-vaxxers are Canada and USA. The idiots up here believe they are superior and vitamin D will prevent them getting the virus. Someone told me 94% of people in the UK so far have gotten the vaccine, and it's unlikely for the virus to mutate into something resistant off just one person who has it as this thing mutates slowly. I would think more optimistically to be honest. From having more than 1600 deaths per day at one point to less than 140 isn't easy to accomplish and I think the lockdowns and vaccines have definitely helped.
  9. Porky isn't winning so far. *phew* Alberto Beingolea is one of the favourites, which I find madness. He used to be a sports journalist. A former footballer in George Forsyth is also in the running, but he's not expected to win.
  10. @DeadLinesman I just did some research. The only way you'd go back into lockdown in September/October is if another mutation shows up, and it's vaccine resistant. Which is unlikely given how slow this thing mutates. If I were you, I would close all borders with Brazil though, Bolsonaro is doing nothing to stop the spread. The rest of South America barring Paraguay has closed Brazil off now.
  11. We just went into Lockdown 3 today. All because Ford couldn't wait a few more weeks before opening everything up again. What a wanker, to think he actually did a good job during the first wave too.
  12. If there will be a lockdown 3 by Sep/Oct, then what are the vaccines for? Genuine question.
  13. I have no memory of giving this a rep
  14. Renato Tapia included as an option by The Athletic to potentially do well as a No. 6 at Manchester United. Not a rumour or anything, but it really speaks to how good Tapia has been this year. Keeps gaining new fans.
  15. Guerrero included in best Corinthians foreigners ever!
  16. Just bought NBA2K21. Got drafted by Charlotte at 22nd.
  17. One of the best players of the Premier League era. Had longevity and in his prime he was sensational. It's a shame he's never worked for Argentina, as if he did they most certainly would have won something. Now the question, will he go to Barcelona or back home to Independiente? I think the former is more likely.
  18. When are people getting their vaccine? My cousin is getting one in Miami and he's 25 with no underlying conditions. He just happens to know people. Lucky bastard. I have to wait til August/September at the pace we're going here in Canada.
  19. And it's also Neuer's birthday. In my opinion, the best goalkeeper I've seen in my lifetime.
  20. Didn't know they were South American.
  21. Both, if I read things correctly. Apparently 54% of the population that gets the virus is infected by the UK or Brazilian strains. I know UK has a slightly more deadly strain, not sure about Brazil, but that is a higher risk of reinfection. The ones at risk are the ones in their 30's-60's. The elderly will survive this third wave, which is the good news of all this.
  22. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-covid-third-wave-younger-patients-1.5955838 The rest of it doesn't sound good, but the quote above is the bit that we all wanted to hear. I just hope they speed up vaccinations here.
