Basically that 1982 World Cup match, where Germany and Austria played a gentlemen agreement and just passed it back and forth the entire game to let Germany go through. Technically that was a Germany win, but I think the point stands as we often see it as a draw anyways. Anyways I still think draws should be split into 1 point but that was an interesting point that was raised to me. I'm sure it would probably have more negatives though.

Funnily enough I had a discussion with someone over a controversial subject similar to it. Teams who draw shouldn't get any points. Personally I'm not sure if I agree with it because it makes sense to split the points, but it does at least stop teams from playing for draws and avoiding a Germany-Austria situation. So there are benefits to it.

Yeah absolutely, it's not entirely an "unpopular opinion" but you don't hear anyone say that ever. Ibrahimovic before turning 30 had some inconsistent spells (especially at Barcelona) but after that he's comfortably been one of the top 5 forwards in the world. No debate for me. I even had him as the best at some points in the last decade.

The CWC revamp is one of the worst things to happen to football. What's the point when we will have 4 European semi-finalists at worst. The gap between them and everyone else is just too big to make it interesting. The only good thing about it is other teams will have a chance to test themselves. It's better to have multiple teams prove themselves than just the champions going across the world for 2 games. So it's not all gloomy.

Fucking hell, but Bayern doesn't really help the image of the Bundesliga for those who view it as the "Bayern-Liga". There's another one gone.

Not having a go at you. Having a go at some of the people who attacked me on here for saying Guerrero was "fairly banned" when now it has been proven that what he did was completely legal. Speaks louder than words that some investigations come out and prove players as innocent but people would still prefer to believe any ban that comes their way without much research.
