  1. He hates Wenger because of the way he kicked him out of the club apparently, no idea what that was.
  2. Giving someone a job because they had half a season of management and done well would be madness in my opinion. If there's more to him and the club believes before that that he'd make a good manager then it's a different story, but if they hire him in last season alone I don't think it'll work out well.
  3. Tony Adams just comes across as bitter the more he goes on. "He's got no friends", "he's not the best I've worked with", "he'd be sacked at Madrid after a year"....at Madrid he'd actually have money to compete with the rest.

Boxers also need to fight, Anthony Joshua can't do it every week.

I included that, unless I've counted 2 things as 1?

Hearn was definitely having a laugh making Dillon Whyte a box office fight.

Ironic nobody has mentioned Ben Barba's move to St. Helens after slating Toulon and Union for it

Makes you wonder where he can go from here now, beaten at Middleweight, beaten at Welterweight, lost leverage on the Khan fight now surely, who'd pay for Wembley now? Surely must be an Arena fight.

Fair play to Errol Spence Jr, proved he was the better fighter but Kel Brook fought well, not that that means much from me considering he's just fought potentially one of the best welterweights going Think the only issue with Broom is another loss and he's probably loss some revenue off of the Amir Khan fight.
  13. Wasps leading Exeter 20-14 at Twickenham, as much as I'd love to see them flop it'd be wrong to crown a team that didn't finish top the champions.
  14. That doesn't surprise me as really they could have easily ended it at #2.
  15. I've only caught 13 Reasons Why every now and then, but I've enjoyed what I've seen. @Fairy In Boots I've seen the first two series and it was absolutely class, great characters and great acting. Yet to see the third series now.
  16. As if you even need a transfer budget with the team you have and the valuations they would bring in.

I don't know, if Joshua gets more out of Mayweather in terms of training then I could see it happening some day. I'll be watching that on the box, definitely not a fight of the year contender, only other "contender" would be another AJ bout this year. Reckon Brook's gonna lose this, Spence looks so quick and strong.

How long till Mayweather snaps up AJ?
  19. Source for the £300m of dividends? A couple of years ago he took £3m out and done it again the year after, can't see anything online showing that much money was taken out..
  20. Will it take off the same way football has? Rugby will be a direct competitor to NFL. Not surprised Exeter pulled that out, seems weird to have to play a final before a semi final.
  21. Josh Clarke is the only one to properly break the first team, Field has done so but largely at a squad rotation level. Even then Clarke hasn't been our first choice with the strength we have on the wings now. The rest have made appearances but it's Clarke has been the closest to breaking the first team, so whilst the academy lads are definitely stepping up, they've not cracked the first team yet. Time will tell, we may have a B team that has a host of players like Clarke and Field for example that can break through to the first team, we may have players like Stuar Dallas in there starting from humble beginnings. Our academy wasn't failing us, but I do buy into what we're trying to achieve and think we'll be able to get more from the B team than we have our academy.
  22. They have been, but I think if we give it time we will see what we get from the rest of the B Team. The idea is that it's a bit more competitive than the academy teams and offers more of a direct route to the first team, meaning we can sign a higher calibre of player and keep them on a decent contract. You make a valid point and time will tell what we get from it but I'm hoping we benefit.
  23. You're referring to what will happen if he sells his shares in the club which would cost around £700m and make him a profit of £300m...but how could you be more competitive without him? What money is at the club that you're currently not seeing?
  24. We'll see more next season I imagine, can't really make much out of it at the moment. I support the cause, why fund an academy if we can't keep our best youngsters...put it all into a B team that offers higher quality reserves the chance to break into the first team by playing world class academies constantly. All sounds great so I can't complain, but we'll need to see what it produced over the next few years. We're surrounded by scouts of Chelsea, QPR, Fulham, Arsenal, Spurs...a lot of clubs in west London alone, let alone the north London clubs. Let alone United stealing our best prospect. Id love for the club to run a good academy but at the moment if the B Team brings in better players then I'd prefer that.
