Na it's generally just open to the public, think Souths have one pre-season there a year "Return to Redfern", pretty sure they train there too, top right hand side still has their crest, but the rest of the year they play at the ANZ which is a soul destroying stadium both in location and attendance to capacity ratio. Wests do as well for some odd reason, it's basically in Parramatta. I guess the suburban grounds don't bring in the dollar but for me the best place to play NRL games out of the suburban grounds is at the Allianz...only problem being there's no public transport other than a bus and what will be the light rail in a few years and the Allianz already has three tenants in Roosters, Sydney FC and the Warritahs. Ironically the best supported of the three are Sydney FC. Theres lightyears difference between AFL and NRL at the moment, Sydneys over crowded but personally I just don't think the funding is in it for them to stay at their home grounds so the NRL want government funding to turn the ANZ into a primary NRL stadium and the government want to split resources between the ANZ and the Allianz. However less entertaining AFL maybe, the MCG and Etihad are positioned perfectly and they get the crowds.

Every time I walk down the office I see the Sydney harbour bridge. Every time.
  5. I liked it personally, good episode.
  6. 100 dead in a month was it? Protests before the election (maybe a day before, or just entirely before) made illegal with years worth of prison time to go with it...
  7. Could always play Luiz in midfield if needed?

I've got the Tube, I've got busses every 5-10 mins. Yeah it can be easier and I'll probably get it when I'm back but it's by no means a necessity in London. Same for Sydney, I can get the train wherever I need to go and I won't need to do much driving out at here whilst travelling.

Maybe not a grand, but even £400 could go towards better things than a driving licence for me at the moment.

I get that but it's been spend a grand on driving lessons or save to go travelling...
  15. Sheffield United first game of the season, I'm sure they'll be looking towards big things this season so it'll be a good test for us. We've got so many options up front now, there's going to be a lot of goals.

  19. I imagine it's along those age groups, a pre-season friendly for both so nothing to get too excited about and I'd imagine your best youngsters are currently with the first team?

There are Aussie in this bar celebrating Chelseas goals in a friendly as if they're playing an actual competitive contest
