With Sponsors threatening to pull out and bank accounts being frozen as well as all the other over the top nonsense going on surrounding the club at the moment this has gone way beyond sanctioning just one man but dragging every employee/fan and player through the wringer... Now, and I say this with 100% honesty, if you want to fuck us over and make everyone suffer even more then do it properly, demote us to league 2, clear out all the expense and over the top wage bills for players and let a buyer come in and run all his banknotes under ultra violet lights to make sure there are no dodgy ones in there and work under a low cost model where we spend within our means... Top, middle or bottom of the pile this club will survive.. @Honey Honey How much is a season ticket for the Toons mate??? looks like I will need to be moving my glory hunting plastic fan arse over to the next big thing... It won't... He will be asking for a no fly zone which we cannot commit to, there is nothing more we can do without tipping things over the edge that will bring this war to an end... If this was just a ground war then things would have been a lot different but with a nuclear threat hanging over everybody nobody wants to be provoking the situation further... I fear the Ukraine is lost despite the bravery of it's people to fight on, it's just a matter of time before they are forced to concede.. These are seriously sad and frightening times

Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle has granted Mr Zelenskyy's request to read a statement to the House of Commons at 5pm GMT on Tuesday. It is expected he will ask for more arms and will repeat calls for a no-fly zone over Ukraine, which Western leaders have so far denied as it could mean NATO having to shoot down Russian planes. They fear it would risk a third world war. "Every parliamentarian wants to hear directly from the president, who will be speaking to us live from Ukraine, so this is an important opportunity for the House," the Speaker said.

This is the current government under Johnson that has received at least 2Mill in donations since 2019 from Russian sources and who's money he refuses to give up for the greater Ukrainian cause... It must be harder everyday for him to heave his big fat sweaty body up on that high horse of his and start pointing fingers when all this 'dirty' Russian money was flooding in and was welcomed unchecked with open arms... bit late now to be trying to take the moral high ground especially as it would be a long way to climb up starting from the gutter...

I think knowing our current government they would sell us off and then mark the funds from it as 'Donation' and stuff it in their pockets along with all the other Russian money they are keen to keep hold of... Tuchel rightly getting pissed off at the constant questions he can't answer from journalists over both Abramovich and the war in Ukraine.. don't blame him

He is looking at damage limitation at the moment given the atmosphere surrounding anything Russian but if the worst comes to the worst the club has other buyers that could be interested in taking over...

This announcement doesn't change much at this point in time as he has not been as directly involved in the clubs day to day running for the past year at least but if they sanction him directly then it will... The club has been working on achieving financial stability for some years now taking us away from that need to keep having his money pumped into the club so we will be somewhere close to that goal I should imagine..

Things are looking seriously grim for everyone... I know it's out of sync but did watch a live feed of this... I am glad the world is not standing by doing nothing but lets be brutally honest, the idea of war in Europe as an alternative to a peaceful outcome is absolutely frightening...

Just reading that Anna Karen who played Olive from 'On the Buses' has died in a Housefire... Also Jack Smethurst who was in 'Love Thy Neighbour' also passed away recently...
