I know I blasted Goretzka in another thread for his bad hair but I recently read that protesting at the Qatar Cup was his brain-child and that he was sour with his teammates for not taking a stand. I guess there was some dressing room drama between he, Neuer, and Kimmich and he got shouted down. This might have been from BILD or another questionable source, but if it was real then good for him. Much respect.

There were some great matches this weekend. Made time to watch Atletico-Elche, Celta-Sevilla, Villareal-Valencia, Cadiz-Almeria, and Real Betis-Athletic. Thus cementing my position as a bigger fan than @Stan.

Lewandowski avoids a 3-match suspension to play in the Catalan derby, all because his club filed a legal challenge to delay the suspension. Absolute shit show that Barcelona get away with this. Can't wait for that club to crash and burn.
