Anyone done a cruciate or collateral ligament before(my self-diagnosis)? I won’t have it confirmed for a week or so but fuck me what a nightmare. Fortunately it’s not just my income we are on. Partner still has maternity leave payments which help. This change is only until December. As for the 3 day thing, I’m sharing a class with a lady who has been doing 2 days a week all school year so I’ve just replaced the other teacher she was sharing with. It’s a nice change but still a lot of work. I have given people phone interviews before and last year was on a panel for hiring new teachers. I had to read over 100 applications etc. Full on, but I quite enjoyed being on the other side of the table during interviews. You really get to see the process differently and how much it means to people. One lady, with a great pedigree just got so nervous she bombed the interview it’s a real tough thing !!

I did that and now working 3 days a week for the rest of the year in a brand new year level for me. Only thing is to manage our finances well enough that this part time life works out alright with our mortgage etc. should be if I stop buying dildos.

That can be the problem with private schools. Yeah we are fortunate enough that I’m dropping to 3 days a week (starting this week) for the rest of the year, to spend more time at home.

But it’s a sacrament, a commitment to the church and a demonstration of beliefs? And these schools often ask for evidence. And it does help you get into a school here. That’s the end of that.

It’s one of the sacraments so in my mind it makes sense that it helps. The school/s would take a family or children who have shown commitment to the church over others. I don’t understand how this doesn’t make sense. I am not Catholic either but the public schools in my area are some of the toughest in the city, and there’s zero percent chance I would want to send my girls there - again see what they want in 10 years time lol.
