  1. That's a massive present! Fair play to you both. We are getting the girls their first proper bicycles. I need to assemble them though, they're currently hidden away in a box and I will need to navigate how I can put them together without them seeing them... I will do my best not to leave it to the last minute haha. We will probably get other bits and pieces for them. They are the only people I buy for these days! We shall be off to the rich cousins house for xmas, they have a heated (not that it will be needed in December) non chlorine world class bloody pool, among other insane features of the property..... be nice!
  2. If he was crap he would've failed massively last season. Losing their best ever player and still finishing above some big clubs was decent. Agreed that away form hasn't been great, but I don't think he's getting sacked anytime soon.
  3. They had a show here a fair few months ago and it sold out in minutes and people were going crazy. I don't mind one or two of their songs, but for me, vastly overrated.
  4. You are possibly the biggest legend this forum has ever seen. What a great man you are!
  5. Managed to hit a new personal record last week at the Running Festival. Signed up for the 4km a while ago - was training well, but illness and mystery injury (still ongoing with no answers despite three ultrasounds) - I wasn't hopeful I'd even be able to run the distance, but managed 18:48 for the 4KM which I will gladly take, ranking equal second in my age group. Granted most were probably doing the half or full marathon but onwards and upwards from here! (once injury is identified lol)
  6. US would definitely be ready. I think it's ludicrous to suggest otherwise.
  7. Postecoglou (you almost got his name correct) will be there come end of season, easy.
  8. Yet I am sure all our western media will be painting them as righteous or civilised. I am fearing a WW3 here.
  9. Some decent 'bigger' name recruits, but granted Mata and Costa are quite older.... Sydney sides recruiting well though. We have gone way more local, until we signed a couple of South Americans. Let's see how they go. Not holding my breath for anything remotely decent from us this season....again.
  10. Not sure, I’m not Eco.
  11. Made my return to football this year after near 3 years out with an injury. Played 4 games only this season, as injuries again took its toll, and to commit each week was hard too. Got into running, but again struck down with a bad virus and a miscellaneous injury. Prior to this, been doing mostly 4 or 5km runs, in terms of 4KM took 2 minutes off my Personal best within a month, and similar with 5k. Once I feel better, getting back into it, as I am finding it very fun for some reason. Got a 4Km run along the river for a charity start of October so hoping to get a few runs in before then. Aiming to go under 19 minutes.
  12. I guess being involved with the first team would impact availability… Definitey still raw, needs some fine tuning but be interesting to see what happens. Would hope more than the under 19s but he is still super young!
  13. Summer, but Winter not far behind... love the snowboarding etc.
  14. Was quite embarrassing to be honest, the fact breaking was even in the Olympics was fucking cringe. Her dreadful performance had probably overshadowed the attention the other athletes deserved.
  15. Nestory Irankunda going quietly about his business in the off season for Bayern Munich, replacing Kane in a friendly and assisting just recently. He is a big talent from Oz. Be interesting to see if he makes it anywhere near the squad come season time...I would predict reserve league or whatever you have in Germany or a loan, but who knows!! He has scored some goals so far too.
  16. Nice, we do vegetable lasagna quite often, I also cannot tolerate gluten or spices since about 2022… so it’s a challenging time food wise these days!
  17. Any good meal suggestions that are easy? I couldn't go vegetarian or vegan I don't think, but what would help is a wide range of knowledge of tasty meals.... I just like a bit of meat, there I said it. Tried pescatarian diet for a month or so a few years back. that's about it!!
  18. I think you took my last post the wrong way. I incorrectly assumed an admin would check the bug thread when possible. It's not like I expected an immediate response. I appreciate what you do. Apologies for offending.
  19. You don’t check this section when there’s posts in it? Will remember that for future
  20. My ted talk. It is quite often hard for those living in England or with a very close link to towns and cities in England to fully understand, and I truly believe with good reason, that people abroad with no or little link support teams from England (often the premier league) with such passion and conviction. I grew up into a somewhat football family. Dad liked football, and as did my grandparents on both sides. Dad was a Chelsea fan, he was born in London. His dad an avid Spurs fan. On the other side of the family, Chelsea/Palace/Charlton were supported. I started playing and of course, United were incredibly successful when I was a child. Most my friends supported either them or Liverpool. I became obsessed with Manchester United. I'm talking watching any game I could at ungodly hours, posters on walls, magazine subscriptions, cards, and god knows what other merchandise. I even somehow got a shirt with signed names on from a family connection. I met Sir Bobby by chance when I was a young boy, still an incredible experience nearly 25 years later. However, as I got older, I felt distanced from the club (not just geographically lol), and I also became a really active fan of my local side Perth Glory. I would say over the past 9-10 years I have hardly followed or watched an EPL game. Apart from at bars every now and then. For quite a while now I have contemplated throwing my support behind a side I have always had a soft spot for, and whilst support is quite a loose term living so far away, I wanted a connection to English football again (I even purchased an Aldershot Town shirt years ago because some family lived not too far away lol), and I have decided that I want to follow this side I have a family connection to....Tottenham. I guess Big Ange helps a little too. So....is it too late to change your football team? Can you change your team? Have you changed your team? I mean, this isn't my FIRST team, that is and always will be (if we exist forever lol), Perth Glory, and would find it impossible to support anyone else here, but I guess a team from a different country.....
