Been given a scholarship to do a professional certificate short course from an interstate university learning about understanding childhood trauma. This should further my working knowledge in the field, so important in today’s age if you’re working in a sector that’s impacted.

Yeah was bringing the washing in one evening this week and looked up and saw some gigantic legs crawling along the gutter in the moonlight.

My new gym made me do some whole body machine thing that calculates a lot of stuff, body fat % came in at 16% which I am not happy with although it’s decent(?)…was sub 10 back in the day but at the same time my injury has kept me essentially without strenuous exercise for a year now, and I like an alcoholic beverage and am partial to chips. Have been working hard at the gym last few weeks and feeling the differences already (maybe it’s just psychological but I’m gonna keep going!).

I’m 6.5 years soft drink free (minus things like the odd mineral water type thing). I highly recommend stopping.

Bought it for some stupid reason - I’ve got like no time, but snuck a couple of squad battle games in, was hoping to just chip away at career mode this time however the game gave me TOTW Salah already ffs now I’ve got to try build something haha

The new season finally kicks off soon and in classic Australian fashion, Perth glory will play the first 10, yep 10 home games at Macedonia Park a ground that is horrendously average and could maybe fit 4-5k….if some temporary seating was added. Absolute shambles of the state government etc not getting our ground ready as it’s having upgrades for the womens World Cup or something! My mate is now working for Perth Glory so I’m getting some good inside info and the lads are looking decent but I think finals would be a real struggle still…

I’ve already said we talk about bad things. Not everything but there’s more exposure now and curriculum links to the past.

We teach about the stolen generation as early as kindy/pre primary mate. Lots has changed in our curriculum in the last decade.

In the curriculum do they learn about the atrocities the British colony inflicted on the world? Genuine question.
