I just watched some shite documentary on biker gangs like the Hells Angels. My big takeaway from it was: holy shit these gangs are fucking stupid. It’s like scouts... but they sell drugs, run guns, and kill people in rival scout troupes. I’m sort of astounded how much cooler shows like Sons of Anarchy make these dickheads look.

I think Klopp can be forgiven, I don’t think many sides would do well in our circumstances. And he’s got a proven track record for success. We’re absolutely lacking in depth compared to you (and other rich clubs tbh) and it’s been massively exposed this season as we’ve seen all our senior CBs get injured, then our best midfielder filling in for them get injured, then the “probably not top flight quality fill ins” also getting injured . Players that were decent options off the bench 2 years ago have either stagnated or been injured too many times to be of any use this season. Doesn’t help 2 of the front 3 have completely lost form and our marquee signing has turned out to be our biggest flop in a very, very, very long time. I obviously don’t think we should sack Klopp, but I do question why the fuck he’s not changing things considering we’re about a billion miles from the side we were last season.

Aside from all of the obvious shortcomings in the squad this season has pretty brightly shined a light on.... ... why is Mane suddenly totally dogshit this season? I love the man and after the last few seasons, he can be afforded a shit season. But holy fuck, what a drop off.

I remember it was initially reported he'd be out for about 3-4 weeks... then there was news that the injury was worse than initially thought. Then the news that it would be around February or March. Tbf it's better to be safe with the player and not rush them back if newer information when swelling has gone down indicates things are worse for them. So I don't blame the club. But I do think that a lot of the early news about injuries, this season... and at times last season with AOC & Shaqiri, tbh, isn't always the most accurate and the timetables change. But I mean... if a player needs more time to get fully healthy... I think we should let that happen otherwise we run the risk of making injuries worse... which can potentially ruin careers.
