  1. I've played it on the Xbox - I've got a few of the Jackbox Party Packs because they're a good bit of fun if you've got a few people over for drinks or anything like that. Quality games. I like Biddiots (you draw pictures of certain things they describe, then they're assigned values as though they're pieces of art at an auction, you're given the value of 3 paintings, and you bid on them). Quality game. I've been playing shitloads of PUBG lately.
  2. I hope Andy Robertson keeps his starting role when Moreno is healthy. He's been excellent and while Moreno has improved... I just think Robertson is better. Bargain too.
  3. So is his injury that's had him out for the season all bullshit?
  4. The only issue I have with Coutinho so far is the timing of his transfer request. If he wanted out, he shouldn't have done it at the end of the transfer window. And especially not the same day we have a fucking CL qualification match. That situation reeks of an agent telling a player to time it like that to cause a disruption of the club. And the fact there's stories out now saying he believes he's played his last game for the club indicates that he wants to force the move now as he failed to force the move in the summer. There's not a lot of incentive for us to let him go now, unless Barcelona are going to pay a premium for a CL cup-tied player. If he refuses to play, he probably fucks over his world cup chances. But it doesn't make sense for us to let him leave unless the fee right now unless the fee is absolutely outrageous. But with the rumours that they want Ozil on a free as an alternative might have Coutinho worried. The stories coming out now about Coutinho trying to convince the club to let him go for a record fee seem to fall in line with the fact that he and his agent have been told it's now or never for the Barcelona move. Again, like Suarez, it's hard to begrudge a world class player for wanting to play alongside players like Messi and compete for the CL year in year out. But I can begrudge a player for putting in a transfer request before an important match and if he does pull a Mascherano and refuse to turn up to training and say he's unavailable to be picked in order to force his move to Barca, that will firmly solidify him as a bastard. Especially if he's going to do that before an FA cup match against our local fucking rivals. I think the club should seek to sign his replacement during this window and fuck him off to Barca for as much as we can. And we should let Real Madrid and PSG know that for whatever fee Barca might be able to land him, they can also land him. I'd prefer to sell to one of them over Barca.
  5. Barca are desperate for Coutinho, Coutinho is clearly desperate for the move to happen, my guess is it'll drag on all January but will probably happen at some point during the January. So we should look to bring in his replacement now and fuck the little bastard off. Great player, but like Virgil van Dijk... definitely cunty to do to your employer. If you're going to be a little bastard and try to force a move right after signing a long contract, you should be prepared to let your club to hold your new club ransom. I think it could get pretty ugly though because I think Coutinho's close to where he may refuse to play for us, but John Henry is believed to be a person who holds grudges against clubs (Firmino's release clause is reported to specifically exclude Arsenal after the Suarez shite) - and I can see him not appreciating Barca's public negotiation tactics. I wouldn't be surprised if he would refuse a move unless it was absolutely outrageous for this market - although it might not be wise because any fee for Coutinho for this market is going to be pretty fucking ridiculous. If he hadn't come public with this, I could see this going like the Suarez transfer. Where everyone knew he was off, but because he gave us one more year (and it was a great one) he's still held in pretty high regard amongst our fanbase (although I think Suarez is a fucking cunt tbh, despite being immensely talented). But it seemed like Coutinho was winning fans back after this summer... and now I don't think he'll be regarded in the same estimation by our fans. So if he doesn't get the move and does some arrogant shite like fucking off to Brazil and refusing to play a la Tevez and Costa, he'll probably end up absolutely hated.
  6. Anyone see the Lingard cheated on his gf (who is very fucking hot) with some single mum who looks like she's a stripper.
  7. Tbf I think CM is an area we can improve on massively. That position and GK are the two most glaring areas we should be improving. Can is likely to go (not too fussed about that tbh), but that's a position that definitely needs strengthening - I think it would need strengthening even if we were keeping Can, because of his consistency issues - as well as Henderson's very hit or miss form since his last bad injury and Wijnaldum being fucking wank away from home.
  8. https://www.goal.com/en/amp/news/75m-virgil-van-dijk-joins-naby-keita-in-jurgen-klopps-masterplan-/1faugqaw77z3c1mded913cfnkn?__twitter_impression=true Melissa Ready (who works for goal.com which is normally shite, but she's pretty reliable for Liverpool stuff - and is arguably a media mouthpiece for Klopp) says now that we've got VvD & Keita locked up, we're looking to bring in Goretzka (on a free, but most likely massive wages because it seems like everyone wants him), Sergey Milinkovic-Savic (for a reportedly outrageous fee), and Thomas Lemar.
  9. Everton are selling a shirt with Liverpool fans on it https://imgur.com/a/EvAYJ
  10. I like how you can tell which Chelsea fans used to be Man Utd fans until Chelsea got rich.
  11. Earlier in the season I was pining for a "real" striker. Bobby just doesn't have that truly instinct in front of goal that Liverpool have long had my whole life with Rush, Fowler, Owen, Torres, Suarez (more his second season than his first). But Bobby as our #9 is growing on me for sure. He does the "defending from the front" thing better than any striker I've seen from us - even compared to Kitty (when he played as a striker - idk if I'll ever see a player exceed Kuyt's workrate when he played on the right for us). But aside from his constant pressing, he's a great playmaker... and when you've got Salah, Mané, and Coutinho that's obviously going to be valuable. I also think Bobby's improved his striker instincts as the season has gone by. And looking at how Sturridge or Solanke (although Solanke's just a kid) have done in his absence... there's a good case for him being just as important as Salah or Mané in our front 3.
  12. Don't see what the point in exiting is if we're going to still be subject to EU rules and regulations AND have no say in what those rules and regulations are. That doesn't assert Britain's sovereignty, it merely takes power away from Britain.
  13. So there's been some sort of deal announced. Looks like we'll be paying tens of billions to leave the world's largest free trade area, while surrendering the rights to define it's rights and regulations, though we will continue to abide by these rights and regulations. Expensive price to be pay to be an EU vassal state. Well played Brexiters, well played.
  14. Is this our first time in the CL knockout stage since... we had Rafa? Our last CL campaign under Rodgers was so terrible and short. And then I tried to think of the last time we were in the CL knockout stages and it was a looong time ago.
  15. These fires in southern California are pretty bad.
  16. The thing I don't understand is how so many people could vote leave without knowing they were voting for something incredibly up in the air. If the voting public took the information from both sides and thought "well Brexit could be as bad as the remainers are saying, but it could be as good as the Brexiters are promising" that's a HUGE fucking gap of different possibilities over what this vote meant for the UK. I mean it doesn't help that there's those lies that were spread about how much money the NHS would receive, and for Boris Johnson to say it was unrealistic after campaigning in front of those fucking busses is outrageous. And the lies about being able to better control our borders and retain the freedom of movement throughout the EU. But these were effective lies and they convinced a lot of people to vote for Brexit. But what's worse than thoughtless voters is these politicians who campaigned for it, lied through their fucking teeth, and spent months campaigning... and had no fucking plan for if people voted for their bullshit. So what we're left with is a number of voters who voted for the country to proceed forward with huge uncertainty and politicians that have no fucking clue what they're doing, because nobody anticipated that this would happen. There's also the fucking people who voted for Brexit because they thought leave would win. These people are painfully stupid and I'm convinced that society would be better off without them. Voting for something you don't want for a "protest" vote is absolutely retarded, these people should be forced to have "DUMB CUNT" tattooed onto their fucking foreheads. But I can't blame these idiots for the lies from the campaigners or the idiot politicians who didn't have a fucking plan for something they were letting the general public vote on. The leadership in the UK is fucking shambolic.
  17. Wow those are crazy birds - HUGE. Panda v. Snowman is a quality clip. The pandas at the Toronto zoo are hilarious.
  18. https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/a-woman-approached-the-post-with-dramatic--and-false--tale-about-roy-moore-sje-appears-to-be-part-of-undercover-sting-operation/2017/11/27/0c2e335a-cfb6-11e7-9d3a-bcbe2af58c3a_story.html So this woman working with Project Veritas (a right-wing outlet that tries to get misleading soundbites to push bullshit narratives) came forward with a fake story about Roy Moore in an attempt to have a "gotcha" moment with WaPo... and instead is revealed as a fraud and validates WaPo's journalistic vetting procedures. Trying very hard for the soundbite lol. The head of Project Veritas has been convicted of fraud and illegal tactics in his bullshit artistry just last year, so I'm surprised he's allowed to continue as the head of this "media" outlet. The man is a total fraud and so are his employees.
  19. Something really needs to be done about our lack of a plan B and the absolutely shocking defending. How many years is it now? Too many.
  20. Don't think Citeh, Chelsea, or PSG are complaining too much about their corrupt oil barons tbh.
  21. He had a very bright start to the season. Then he demonstrated why he's got a reputation of being inconsistent, because his performances were absolutely abysmal. Personally, I think it's his footballing intelligence. His positioning is terrible, for instance. But he's gifted technically and physically - he's got a lot of good qualities. But he can play like a clumsy moron, out of position and unable to find a player with his passing. But when he's not playing like a clumsy moron, he's playing pretty great. We're starving for consistency though and more often than not, we can't really rely on Can because we don't know which Can will turn up. And if he's not going to sign a new contract with us, I'm not too fussed about him leaving on a free. Sure, if he ever does click and start demonstrating what he can do on the pitch consistently, it would be annoying to lose him for no money. But at the same time, he's come in, fulfilled his contract, made decent progress... but at the same time hasn't made enough progress to where we're throwing money at him trying to keep him. Like @Harry and @Inverted have said, that physique and his ability to make things happen in the midfield, and with his late movement in the box and vision in the final third... he could be a REALLY great player with some consistency. He's still got the potential to be as great as he can be. But I think we can afford to lose him on a free given his lack of consistency in our system.
  22. I think Momo had better demonstrated his value than Can ever did - but lost his place in the side after the addition of Mascherano, although he got a lot worse as a player after that injury to his eyeball against Benfica. Can's done more going forward than Momo ever did... but his contribution to the midfield as a unit has been poor, for the most part. I think Momo had more than a few good games where he demonstrated his value to a Rafa Benitez midfield.
  23. I was looking to buy a house here and it was stressing me out. Then I got a job offer in the SF Bay Area and I'm probably going to take it - so that means I can scrap my home buying plans here. And it also means I can scrap my house buying plans any time fucking soon, because there's no way I can afford a house in the bay area. The rent is going to be fuuuuuuucking miserable, I haven't even started looking. I wouldn't be starting til January, so I've got time to look but it's going to be depressing because it'll be more than a mortgage would have been here... and I still won't own it.
