Finished "Bonn - Alte Freunde, neue Feinde" (Bonn - Old friends, new enemies) today. It was alright. Towards the end of the series a lot of things seem far-fetched. It still touched some important topics of post-World War II Germany, I think, but altogether it really lacked historical accuracy.

Well, McCain's are a Canadian brand that are very popular world-wide, so they are the most popular brand here too. I'm not sure if I had these exact same ones, but I did have oven chips before which turned out decent, but didn't come close to deep fried. The movie comes out next month, so I don't know. But the father is a Fortuna fan, and in that clip they are in the Fortuna stadium singing Fortuna chants, and the boy gets teary eyed so the father is really happy, thinking his son is emotional because he likes Fortuna. And then the son tells him that he only has tears in his eyes because of the smoke, and the father is very disappointed.
