Well, McCain's are a Canadian brand that are very popular world-wide, so they are the most popular brand here too. I'm not sure if I had these exact same ones, but I did have oven chips before which turned out decent, but didn't come close to deep fried. At least that's my personal opinion, as everyone likes different things.

The movie comes out next month, so I don't know. But the father is a Fortuna fan, and in that clip they are in the Fortuna stadium singing Fortuna chants, and the boy gets teary eyed so the father is really happy, thinking his son is emotional because he likes Fortuna. And then the son tells him that he only has tears in his eyes because of the smoke, and the father is very disappointed.

I mean I'd be worried too. I actually checked some webcams from San Diego to see how it is in your area. A bit windy I'd say, but nothing too bad.

Deep fried. It's not the healthiest way, so I don't eat them every other day, but it is by far the best way to enjoy chips.

What are you planning to do with it? I used to have one, and mainly used it for fries/chips, but they never got as good as doing them the old fashioned way, so I got rid of mine again.

One thing that I have noticed is, we always reach our highest temperatures in the afternoon or evening now. I remember usually it was hottest around noon or or midday, but now we always reach the highest temperature around 17:00 or 18:00. It's been like that for the last few weeks. Weird. At 15:00 it was 24 C° and now we got 30 C°.

This German movie looks quite interesting It is based on the autobiographical book "Wir Wochenendrebellen" by Mirco and Jason von Juterczenka It is about the journey of a father and his autistic son to find the latter's favourite German football team by visiting all 56 teams in their respective stadiums. Visiting all 56 1-3. Liga stadiums sounds like @Coma's dream. Seems like they filmed in most if not all stadiums as well. I definitely recognised ours, and they are wearing Düsseldorf scarfs.
