We're due a big decision from Tierney and a big decision in a league game at Man City when we're challenging them for the title. The Sterling offside (13/14) and Kompany not being sent off (18/19) proved costly for us. Let's hope we get one go our way this Sunday. I won't hold my breath though.

I hope there's one last mad Origi moment left this season. Maybe in Paris or at Wembley There's still Everton at home as well.

Reports are that he should be back for the Man City game. So potentially misses Forest, Watford and the Benfica first leg. Trent is irreplaceable in our squad but you'd like to think whoever comes in means we can get by for those three games.

Dyche would probably be a good fit at Everton but there's plenty of Evertonian's who think they're above someone like him.

I think anyone who thought that is an absolute loon to be honest. They probably got caught up in the hype of Man Utd signing an old man and severely underestimated what two proper centre backs does for Liverpool and a proper manager does for Chelsea.

Liverpool had no centre backs for half the season and Chelsea had Frank Lampard as manager until about January. I think that explains that one.

There were plenty on here and plenty of pundits who had them ahead of Chelsea and/or Liverpool at the beginning of the season. And this was with Solskjaer as manager I never did understand it to be honest.

Let's see what happens come the summer. Not really arsed about transfers at the moment given that it's now March and Liverpool are still in three competitions having already won one.

He probably fits the profile of the sort of player Liverpool will be looking at. Whether he would be too expensive I'm not sure.

Talk of replacing him would be silly. Maybe he's a bit of a luxury type of player. He's so good though that you keep him around for the 30ish games he'll be available for. Don't disagree that we could do with signing another who might be more reliable fitness wise. You'd need to move Keita and/or Chamberlain on first though.

Catterall was robbed there. You just knew he wasn't going to get the decision though.

He's brilliant. I just wish he could stay fit for longer periods. Him and Fabinho together in midfield make such a difference.

I've quickly forgotten about most things that happened during the lockdown games to be honest. It was basically a different sport. Going back to Rodgers, I don't think that Villa semi final gets the attention it should in terms of how bad it was because of what followed with the Stoke game. We went 1-0 up and just capitulated against a side who finished 17th in the league that season.

I think a lot of us were surprised at the time that he survived the Aston Villa FA Cup semi final defeat followed by the Stoke 6-1. All worked out in the end though. We probably wouldn't have got Klopp had Rodgers gone in the summer of 2015.

I'd forgotten about him throwing his mate (Pascoe) under the bus to save his own job.
