Spend some time figuring out some of your hobbies and what makes you truly happy, and then try to make money off of it. I enjoy my job, but I am also getting another job starting on the 22nd, and it's one that I have no doubt I'll truly love. I have a thousand hobbies, but it's hard to make money off of Chess, football, and reading, so I went with my other options, which is cyber security and technology in general.

Well then, you are dead to me.

I also don't badnwagon, but I have always liked the Blackhawks and Montreal (mainly for the French), so this has been fun. The Jets used to be the Thrashers, and watching them just irritates me to no end. I am pretty sure both Vegas and Avs will destroy the Habs. The main thing going in Montreal's favor is that Price is just on an elite level come playoff time. I also can't stand Boston.

What a beautiful run Montreal are on. I was sure they were going to lose to the Leafs in 4, maybe 5 games, but after losing 3 in a row to Toronto, they have now won 7 in a row and are the first team to qualify for the Conference Finals. They will either get Vegas or Avs which should be a lopsided matchup, but this run has been fun. I absolutely despise the Jets and the Leafs, so it's be great swimming in both of their tears for the past month.

Yes and No. Certainly some double standards, but one is looking after his physical health, which is much easier to see than mental health is. I'm not an Osaka fan, but respect her decision to pull out of the French, but she was trying to change the rules right before and during the French Open when it comes to the players requirement to speak to the press, whereas Federer simply stepped away due to injury. Vastly different scenario, and hopefully Tennis takes Osaka's stance seriously and begins to allow the players to NOT be required to speak to the press.

Zverev soon to being his QF match, in which he is the heavy favorite to win. No doubt the MOTD is between Tsitsipas and Medvedev.

  10. I saw it and thought it was good. I'm also a chess player and so I liked it on multiple levels, but Dark made me think for hours after watching an episode. I have not.
  11. I haven't been able to find any show nearly as captivating since I completed 'Dark'.

So a few months ago I bought the wife and I tickets to the Van Gogh Experience that was here in Atlanta, and so we went today and I can't even begin to describe how incredible the whole immersion is. If you have never heard of it, here it is - https://vangoghexpo.com/ I almost had sensory overload, but the entire production was simply brilliant.
  13. Is Nurinburg this weekend? Damn, I completely forgot, and now they are on a weather delay. Ugh,
  14. COTA > the shit in France. i will say that I have heard so much about Zandvoort, that I can't wait to watch racing there.
  15. Interesting, wonder where in 'Merica. Texas? I'd rather they go somewhere else, preferably in the Southeast.

Good luck sir. Yeah, I'm moving to a global IT company in late June after my 4th interview. I'm beyond excited about it, however I'm not entirely sure that it's sunk in yet.

It was absolutely fantastic to watch Federer on the court and beating Cilic. Zerev is looking really strong early on and I'd love to see him go far.

Yeah - I don't like her all that much, but I get what she is saying here. They (tennis tournaments) need to take a good hard look about how they treat tennis players and their dumb requirement for the players to speak with the media.

Glad to be back for the time being. Today I accepted a new job as I've been working at the same place for about a year and a half. New role is going to focus solely on Cloud Security for a large global company so I'm beyond excited. Not only are the benefits going to be better, I still get to work from home and my salaried is basically doubled. June 22 is the first day so needless to say I'm on cloud 9 until then. Other than that I'm happy to state that not much else has changed. Life has certainly been good for me and my family.

Have you ever tried Peruvian grapes though?
  21. No complaints. It's been fairly busy with work and other normal daily duties, but really we are all good here. How are things there?
  22. I think I owe @nudge an apology to think that Augsburg were worth of beating Bremen.... After the start they had, it's been a bit of a tight rope walk since then. But honestly, I haven't watched all that much soccer at all.
  23. It was alright. So far this one is much better and I'm almost finished with it.
