  1. The premier league act in the interest of specific teams
  2. While I know the premier league will actively search to close the loopholes, it does not preclude the PL from applying punishment if it feels the nature of the transactions are not within the spirit and purports of fair competition. Whether they will is another issue.

  5. Costa; Dalot, Danilo, Silva, Inacio; Palhinha, J. Neves; Conceicao, Felix, Neto; Ronaldo. That is still a very strong team that many other teams would love to put out.
  6. So it was obvious that Ezra Miller was Smilo Ren the next plot twist is that Sol is a sith lord that got amnesia of sorts in a big giant Knights of the Old Republic bait and switch.
  7. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13571295/Chelsea-make-enquiry-Newcastle-striker-Alexander-Isak-pay-club-record-fee-115m-paid-Moises-Caicedo-Sweden-international.html Lets say it will take a massive transfer in the Coutinho realms to get done, we told Arsenal 180m so I am not sure how likely this is on Chelsea's financial position.
  8. Oddly enough this is correct, but right now I think they are trying to find anything positive to spin to cover up what is abject mediocrity.
  9. Cole Palmer has a bit more polish about him, he had been groomed in a Man City system with absolute butter around him. Gordon had a much harder rise in a troublesome Everton team. If you are judging by purely goals then yes Palmer is better but that is not to say the Gordon is not very good. Last season was a break out for Gordon and his potential to improve is still there. When we signed him there were a lot of fans that hated the signing but I thought it was a good deal even though he struggled to adapt to our system, I think Gordon is a good example of what shear determination, work rate and self belief can achieve. If Sancho had the same he would be that same superstar he was at Dortmund. A team with Gordon and Palmer is certainly going to be a good team. If we are talking about England and potentially improving it certainly looks like Mainoo, Palmer and Gordon are clear means to achieve that, it is just whether Gareth Southgate has the courage and trust in his squad.
  10. So can Foden, and Trent can play 6 but it doesn't they are good at it.
  11. If chelsea spent as much time on squad planning as they do finding loopholes they may be half decent.
  12. To think there were people that were thinking this was England's cup to lose. As per the players don't know how to play as a team, they usually play for clubs loaded with world class players and top managers. Without that and Gareth Southgate you have a recipe for mediocrity.
  13. the team will be back to normal for the next game and southgate will lack the courage to take passangers like Foden and Bellingham who did absolutely nothing today. Palmer, Mainoo and Gordon were much better.
  14. So Gallagher in for Trent Spamlexander Arnold. This tournament needs another upset.
  15. I like him for what he offers but he is definitely not worth 35m or 40m. It may be worth trying to resign him to a new contract.
  16. Apparently the DCL link went as far as DCL agreeing personal terms but yes, there is no way we will pay 35m for a striker entering his final year, who has had two seasons of bad injury records and a 2,7,7 goal ratio. DCL makes sense only if we keep Wilson and go with 3 strikers into the season.
  17. Well done to @Tommy and @MUFC on top scoring. It is all very close at the top now. At least Aston Martin are doing well somewhere.
  18. Gomes will come in for Trippier then its down to Southgate being smart for a change. go with Rice, Bellingham and Foden in the middle, Gordon out on the left and Saka right, drop Kane for Watkins.
  19. the two players from Juventus have "potential" but I think the deal for "potential" and 28m is a risky return.
