  2. Football manager 2022 got it wrong, bought 15m sold for 9, minus any book debt is a loss but nothing that will hurt city. They still have Cancelo on the books but does this mean Ake and Gvardiol playing LB
  3. the only thing that has never flopped is viagra or silicon
  4. It looks interesting, but so many indie survival games never deliver on their promise.
  5. EA announced they are shutting down Battlefield 3 and 4 hosting servers from November. This is an alarmist reaction to the spike in players for BF4 in particular that resulted in poor sales for Battlefield 2142 when Dice did their recent steam sale. Battlefield 4 has more active players and servers than the new game. Dice may also shutdown Battlefield 1 which also saw a spike in players.
  6. So the premier league is "investigating" PSR deadline deals. Seems like a way to delay other matters
  7. Losing hosts tends to take the sting out of a competition. It was a tough draw to get
  8. Not a bad signing for West Ham, he can do a solid job.

  10. They will probably make good money selling Summerville and Rutter and keep Gnonto
  11. Good deal for Fulham, now they need to come spend that on Sean Longstaff

  14. Ideally I don't want to do the business but there seems to be a lot of smoke in the kitchen. In that scenario Liverpool get the best deal, they get a player 5 years younger, home grown and on low wages. The only benefit to us is shifting output to the RW given that Harvey Barnes is in the team and very capable of mitigating Gordon's loss, but we put the oldest player and most paid player on the books
  15. Yes. There seems to be potential developing for a Liverpool, Barcelona and Newcastle trade wheel. Liverpool want Gordon Barcelona want Diaz Newcastle want Raphinha (rumoured) Gordon has tremendous leverage here in that he is 22 years old on 60k for the next 4 years. Diaz is 27 and on 55k until his contract ends when he is 32 years and Raphinha has the worst value due to his 210k/week wages. Liverpool - Newcastle: Gordon > Liverpool Kelleher + 60m > Newcastle That will give us about 40m PSR profit on Gordon and get a long term keeper to eventually replace Pope. Liverpool - Barcelona: Diaz > Barcelona 70m That will give Liverpool a PSR profit of around 40m for Diaz after book debt. Newcastle - Barcelona Raphinha > Newcastle 40-45M Barcelona shed a high earner off their payroll however will need to lower the fee so that we can afford his salary. Raphinha is a major improvement on Almiron and we have Harvey Barnes on the Left so we have moved value to the other side of the pitch.
  16. We have been linked to Raphinha before and he seems to be a Eddie Howe player, insofar as he has been perused long before Ashworth took over. He is a big upgrade on Miguel Almiron who is likely to be moving to the Saudi Pro League, Raphinha does come with a north of 200k/week wages which would make him the highest paid player in our club by some margin. His age is also an issue as he is now at peak value age making his resale value a point of diminishing value. I personally prefer Matias Soule from Juventus and think he fits the age profile we are looking for and will come at a substantially lower price point. Source
  17. I think it will help you have a decent amount of money to spend in this new PSR cycle. Obviously you have to use it well though.
  18. Very perplexed by the deal given the number of players chelsea have in that position. 30m probably helps Leicester whom have made good money on Fofana, Maddison, Barnes and KDH.
  19. Makes sense, City did win the league but they looked most vulnerable this past season. Selling Palmer is not looking smart with Doku putting up nowhere near the same numbers and with Graelish being a passenger, Bernado Silva rumored to leave (again), City need to focus on a RW and DM.
  20. You got Barrenechea who is a good understudy for Kamara
  21. De Ligt isn't perfect as you said, but surely going from De Ligt to Tah is at best a sidestep if not a downgrade for a player 4 years older. This sounds more like a salary dump move.
  22. It was never going to be the same level, but I can still see a number of players in their twilight going there.
