  2. Kitchen Sales era is being woefully neglected amongst us in here
  3. 7. Scousemoose thinking Geordie Danny was Gazza based on the profile picture.
  4. Don't mind that. £20 instead of the usual £10? Or 2 separate £10 stakes as an option to use within the week?
  5. Game 75 - 12th Game 76 - 22nd
  6. GAME 75 - SCOTLAND WOMEN vs ENGLAND WOMEN - TUESDAY 5th DECEMBER, 19.45 (GMT) GAME 76 - SAARBRUCKEN vs FRANKFURT - WEDNESDAY 6th DECEMBER, 17.00 (GMT) ***any predictions made after kick-off will not count*** @Mel81x @Lucas @6666 @Dr. Gonzo @Michael @Redcanuck @CaaC (John) @Devil-Dick Willie @JoshBRFC @Viva la FCB @Pyfish @Bluewolf @Tommy @Rucksackfranzose
  7. Four teams, 3 of them in the bottom 3 of the PL. Six goals, five of them in one game, unexpectedly! But it's only the First Goal that counts... In Game 73, the first goal was the earliest possible, 1st minute! @Bluebird Hewitt gets 1 point for his 3rd-minute pick. In Game 74, the first and only goal was much later on, in the 67th minute. Table after Game 74: No change in the rankings but @Bluebird Hewitt moves on to 7 points.
  8. First win in what feels like an age! Happy days. Win win all round.
  9. England score two in 2 minutes! Stanway and Hemp level it up against Netherlands.
  10. First one is a bit of a win-win. Good price I think given both teams' respective form records. Almost tempted to do West Brom score 2 but might be pushing fate a bit... Second one is purely based on Bolton's ridiculous scoring at home and hoping that the FA Cup doesn't throw up a stinker of an upset...
  11. I do not disagree (and not sure what makes you think I have to even raise this point). But there seems to be a big issue of conflation in this country whereby middle-Englands/EDL-inspired/National Front amateurs and perhaps those that don't even live in the UK don't want any ethnic minority in the country because they might pose a threat and that is deduced purely because of their skin colour. Basically, and to make it very simple for you and anyone else who loves to watch right-wing Youtube in-your-face bullshit: Not all Asians/Muslims/brown people are part of a Jihadist movement. Can we at least agree on that?
  12. If you bothered to read my other post, you'll see that I said it's how people go about putting this message across. In that it can be done without bigotry and racism. Not just 'don't let the muslims or brown people in' or words to that affect that your gammony heroes love to preach.
  13. You've gone off on a massive tangent there. Tommy Robinson has a clear history of bigotry and racism and just being an absolute cunt. The latter is his right to do, but the former two have no place in society. You do realise that there has been violence at pro-Israel rallies? As for 'pro-Hamas' you are absolutely out of your head. And pretty much shown your true colours there to not even recognise it's pro-Palestine not pro-Hamas. Absolutely played yourself there. They're obviously arrested for more than just having a view on unregulated immigration. There's a way to go about disagreeing with an immigration policy and inciting violence or stoking hatred towards a community is not the one. You'd have thought that relatively young gammon might have realised that by now. But no, he keeps making the same mistakes and somehow still has a following of backward-thinking, regressive-minded arse-lickers. You can say 'wokeness' dictates whatever you want. But plain and simply, it's just wanting social equality. So I'll happily be as woke as possible if it means that people who are now branded 'anti-woke' show themselves up as not wanting that or being against wanting social equality and not wanting prejudices or discrimination to be a regular part of society. It's not the woke person's fault that anyone disagreeing with that has misunderstood what it means and therefore use the term wrongly. What you see from me is not getting brainwashed or wound up in conspiracy theorists or ultra-right wing media who have you wrapped around their little finger. What you see from me is wanting people to not be bigots or racists. I'm fine if people want to limit immigration. But don't impose further limit to skin colour or religion or race. Something you quite clearly have a propensity to do considering your jibes at Islam and how you think they're all violent or cause disruption.
  14. It makes me laugh that around remembrance day you get pictures of absolute neanderthals wearing poppies but are emblazoned with swastika tattoos
  15. It's not even that. It's typical right/far-right trope that bang on about 'wokeness' without actually understanding what it means. And I bet this guy even thinks there are 'no-go zones' because Katie Hopkins and Tommy Robinson said so once upon a time. It's that kind of brainwashing that give UK/Britain a bad name.
  16. I wouldn't say it's a 'must' or an essential. It's probably just more valued on top of their essential out-and-out winger traits i.e. speed, crossing, skill, pace, passing, finishing in general. Some wingers do give aerial options naturally because of their height, but others it may be more difficult also because of that reason if they're smaller in stature. I guess an underrated player trait that I can think of right now is long-range shooting from defensive-minded players or players that sometimes play in a defensive position (compared to wingers/strikers/attacking mids). Alexander-Arnold has it perfected from free-kicks or open play positions I'd say. Rodri is another good example too. While talking about wingers as well, an underrated trait is their defensive ability, or ability to track back and help their full-back if the tactics allow. As much as a winger would want a full-back to help them out going forward, it's just as valuable for a winger to put in some effort to double-up on an opposition winger when the opposition attack. Maybe not every single time, but frequent occasions during a match it can help so much with nullifying the opposition's attacking threats. Leeds did it to a tee when we played them earlier this month against Fatawu. I think it can help so much for the rest of the team too if you have wingers on both flanks that do it. I guess in a similar fashion some strikers have the trait of doing the hard yards and chasing around while also being a decent finisher (their main job), but the extra effort they may put in to help out the midfield in a pressing tactic high up the field.
  17. Did you miss the question? 'Maybe the people who they ignored and wrote off a leftie Nazis...might actually have had a point'? Basically the biggest yet valid 'I told you so' by anyone who voted Remain or who was anti-Brexit. Nothing has improved in the last 7 years. Under the Tory government it's become even more of a shitshow than the first 6 years of their 'leadership'.
  18. Game 73 - 30th Game 74 - 20th
