  1. Two of my favourite programme were back this week. SAS Who Dares Wins 24 Hours in Police Custody Also still watching The Crown and halfway through 2nd season. Bit slower than first season but still good to watch.

Always delivers. First innings with the catches. Then the fireworks in the batting to enhance the lead. Now the wickets at the key time. Quality cricketer. Special mention to Sibley. Have England finally found a decent opening partnership for when Burns returns?

Didn't like seeing this just now
  4. Treated myself before Christmas to watch this. Absolutely mad what Magnotta got up to. Definitely fucked in the head.

Yeah hope this shit idea fucks off. Doesn't need to change at all. Some big players are against it though which is good.
  6. what was the response he was carrying?
  7. So Raab has come out and said Iran needs to be 'diplomatic' to reduce tensions and 'avoid a major war'. Isn't this what Corbyn wanted too? To be diplomatic, avoid senseless killings (of citizens/civilians/troops), avoid war? Isn't it good to have stability as opposed to potential attacks/revenge attacks now that Solemaini has been killed? I don't expect Iran to just sit quiet and take this on the chin...
  8. It's not just a black thing though is it? There is racism everywhere but I personally can't say I've heard someone be called a 'white cunt' - more it's just being called a cunt or whatever expletive you want to use. You want to leave it there but you added the proverbial fuel to the fire with your post above anyway?? But you don't hear stuff like 'white XXXX'. Or do you? I certainly haven't but I have heard racist stuff towards brown & black people, including myself. Or is that me bringing the race card out
  9. What? You've gone way off the mark there. Let me guess, it's 'banter' to you and you'll pass it off as a joke.

That is one scary looking South African bowling attack.
  11. I also agree with this. Whenever there's criticism directed to him a lot of it revolves around what he does (or doesn't) do on the pitch and religion is never mentioned. A lot of it revolves around his attitude when playing and not living up to the hype surrounding him. Nothing to do with religion when that's discussed.
  12. As if a guy who slept with his brother's wife is some kind of moral arbiter to talk a player's private life or choices.
  13. Got to halfway through season 2 so far. Couple of boring episodes but then it seems to rescue itself in the next. Finding out a lot about the Royal family and how it coped with matters internally and externally which I didn't know before. Like I had no idea what Princess Margaret was like with her behaviour and choices in life and how she was denied her marriage. And also how the Queen discusses things with the PM... And that makes me even less keen if Boris if she still has to deal with it in the same way
  14. Has anyone watched Unbelievable?
  15. Chambers out for 9 months - Ruptured ACL https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50977240
  16. Agree. I think the armpit decisions so far have been ridiculous.
  17. Why should it only be feet though? You can score with other parts of your body and may score with them - so why allow that but not feet?
  18. Have started watching The Crown as the missus was in to it. Didn't think I'd enjoy it and now I'm gripped to it as much as she is. Blitzing through first season already.
  19. This needs to change. Would clear up several decisions I think. Or at least allow less confusion to be had when a decision is made.
  20. Not surprising given how good the defence is...? Van Dijk is quality. TAA & Robertson are very good. I know there's CB injury problems but your squad has been managed well by Klopp. It's perhaps an area you need improvement in in terms of depth but I wouldn't say surprising at all. Especially given how much you dominate games. Agree with @Dr. Gonzo it's impressive. Not to be biased but I'd say it's more surprising we've only conceded 18 in 19 given the reputation Rodgers had from his time in Liverpool. Obviously a big factor in that is Soyuncu's presence over Maguire. Given us much more assurance and calmness & composure in the back line. Maguire (and his lack of pace) was a bit of a liability.
  21. are we going on a summer holiday?
  22. WHat a game in Adelaide Western Sydney were winning 3-1 in to stoppage time. Adelaide get a penalty in the 93rd minute through VAR overturning ref decision and score it to make it 3-2. Adelaide then get another penalty in the 97th minute after ref missed a handball (debatable) and he goes to the screen, overturns his decision and gives it. Georgevski (WSW) decides to walk off and then Adelaide miss the penalty anyway.
  23. I started it but lost interest after a few episodes. However I think that may have been down to other programmes coming to the fore and being more interested in them. Never really got back in to it again though. I do like Joel Kinnaman as an actor though since seeing him in The Killing and House of Cards.

Had a great birthday and Christmas. Absolutely stuffed from all the food and drink. Glad I'm driving to the game so I can't drink any more
