Yeah sunset is between 4pm and 5pm now after the clocks went back last Sunday. Will only get earlier until new year now.
  3. Why does Sigurdsson not start many games any more? He was/could still be one of your most dangerous players in that central midfield/attacking midfield position.
  4. I wish him the best in his recovery. Devastatingly horrible injury to see.
  5. Nope. Not every single day. I'll happily criticise it where I see fit like today but every time it's been used? Nah.
  6. Sounded like bad usage of it today so won't defend it much

Ah. Wonder if his timeline still goes on...
  8. It's an interesting one. That side a few years ago were incredibly organised and defensively well structured. Solid as a rock. Huth and Morgan were immovable at times. This current side attacks so freely and fluidly and it's what I've always wanted to see in a side. I'd say we're more polished as a unit with this side - every player playing to their strengths. We play a better passing game and we're not a counter-attacking side any more. We're more patient but when we get going it's almost frightening how efficient we can be going forward. We would utilise Vardy's pace more back then whereas now, although he's still rapid, we have to be more cautious with him and it's not always knock the ball over the top and let him run on to it. He's actually such a prolific finisher and not just a pace merchant. The other player that almost goes under the radar right now is Wilfred Ndidi. Ball winner in defensive midfield who's come on leaps and bounds especially this season. His passing has improved but have seen a stat earlier today that since he joined the club, he has made more tackles than any one in the league including Gueye and Kante who obviously come with their excellent reputation and tackling credentials. If you place the teams up against each other I think the current side wins. Narrowly.
  9. Labour are happy to let the people decide but they're not taking Brexit off the table are they? So while they're happy to renegotiate, leaving Brexit is still an option under their referendum options, no?

    The Holiday Thread

Yes went as part of a 2 week trip to America when I was 16 with family. I would like to go back to Vegas to experience the casinos and gambling - couldn't even hang around there inside for too long before security come and tell you to go outside if you're not gonna gamble (obviously couldn't as underage at the time). Grand Canyon was phenomenal. We went in April 2007 and the Sky Walk thing they have there was opened a month before. But weather was too cloudy/windy for it to be open on the day we went so sadly missed out on that. We could see it from where we had been dropped off to though and it looked very perilous but daring. It's an experience I'd like to do though. You can't really fathom how vast the Grand Canyon is unless you've been there. You can do helicopter tours through the Colorado River as well if you have the time/money.
  11. Eh? It's hardly ridiculous. Lib Dems are pro-Remain. Labour are led by someone who is happy to go through with Brexit. Why wouldn't you say you wouldn't form a coalition with them?
  12. Man this law in Spain is fucked up if you can't call it rape because the girl is in an unconscious state (!) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-50257922 I don't get how the current law states it can only be considered rape/sexual assault if physical force is used but then the case describes how she was attacked by various people one by one, and that the defendants were able to commit the acts 'without using any type of violence or intimidation'.
  13. Well that was silly of them... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50254753
  14. I think you and @Dr. Gonzo are both right. They should stop attacking each other and go for the Tories' necks instead. But in the same breath how do you beat the Tories if you're too busy attacking each other? That's not to say form a coalition as such, but the Tories can almost sit back a little while they see both of their 'enemies/rivals' mess about with each other. It's almost as if they're doing the work of the Tories in terms having attention taken away.
  15. Interested to see the reaction next time be scores...

  18. That's quality. This track remains synonymous with F1 for me
  19. Can't go outside due to all these riots that Brexiters said would happen if we didn't leave EU on 31st October. Traffic blocked up, public transport shut down, supermarkets looted, shops and cars vandalised and damaged. Just terrible some of the scenes that have occurred. Now, what actually happened out on the streets...
  20. Are we taking irrelevant politicians at their word now ?
  21. I used to love this guy on the pitch back in the late 90s when he was at Bolton. I don't remember this goal as I was far too young but you can tell he would just be a good guy to be around in a team Also, Oliver Kahn looked knackered after that
  22. @Toinho is it true Perth Glory have approached Zlatan to play on a short-term contract
