    Sounds like a great day!
  2. City are pretty fucked up there aren't they? Probably still better than Arsenal's defence, right @SirBalon ?

Didn't know Brian swung that way.
  4. Anyone could tell you van Dijk is a better defender than Maguire though? Even before the transfer. What point are you trying to prove here?

Amazing how there was never a translator available at any given time to help him out. Must have been busy!

He was convicted some years back of beating up his girlfriend in France.
  8. So he's not allowed to be in a betting ad but he can wear a shirt sponsored by a betting company and play in a stadium where there's advertisements for betting companies during a game? The FA at their logical best, for sure.

What about a young kid that grows up to domestically abuse their partner?

Welcome to the forums @Steve. You can find plenty of info in this thread about betting markets and which sites/bookmakers members use
  11. Really don't know what Southgate saw/sees in Lingard to include him in the latest England squad.
  12. Sorry but both us and Everton have better players to fit a team around. Definitely not someone like Lingard.
  13. I, for one, am completely shocked! Nothing will come of it, sadly. Nothing happened with the Vote Leave corruption stuff if I'm right in thinking.
  14. Little bit on Lingard on BBC's article about upcoming England games: Still amazes me he's 27 but as they say there, perceived as a youngster. The creativity he is supposedly meant to provide is non-existent, as well. No goals and assists since December 2018. And those in December being the only ones in a calendar year. It really does beg the question on how he keeps getting an England call-up. And another question to pose is at what point does he move to Everton when he's perceived not good enough for United?
  15. Why did Barca's drop by about 8k in 2017/18? Was that the season where they had to play a game where fans couldn't enter due to the Catalan/Spain politics?
  16. Definitely remember some of you guys saying Rosberg is like Villeneuve now! Any of you been speaking to Max then ?
  17. I think the concept is good but in practicality not so. It's not fair on black players to be shunned or denied moves because of the racist fans. It's not the black players' problem to be denied football in a country they want to play in. It's the problem of the fans not realising the consequences of their actions. And therefore, the problem of the club. You should punish the club/fans with stadium bans or huge fines/points deductions. Definitely not the player.
  18. Femi gets all kinds of stick but not once does he ever retaliate and get in to a slanging match with the person he gets vile abuse from. For that I admire him (and all the other logic he gives to anyone and everyone about Brexit!)
  19. If anyone, like me, needed a bit more clarity on what the last 48 hours mean and where it could lead to...
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/49581440 Imagine your cannabis farm being inadvertently exposed on TV thanks to a cycling race going through your street
  21. No early election. Only a majority of 242 compared to the 434 required to get it passed. Labour's party line was to abstain from voting.
  22. I think it's gone past the point of fuming to be honest. Any intelligent opposition leader would grab the first chance they can to topple the opposition - Corbyn's had countless opportunities to do so with May since the referendum but hasn't.
