Back from Rotterdam & Amsterdam. The former is pretty dead. Not much going on there but we made the most of it. Amsterdam as good as the last time, if not better. Love that city.

Funnily enough, VAR has actually got stuff right more often than not so far in the Premier League. Obviously all the bad stuff gets exaggerated more because that's what we're like as a society. And a lot of the criticism of VAR actually points more towards about criticism of the rules of the game, not necessarily VAR itself. Clarify and remove the ambiguity of some rules and VAR will end up working perfectly.

Last time I went Netherlands (Amsterdam) it was middle of February, pissed it down with rain, hail, snow and was windy as fuck. So when we booked our next trip there a few months ago for next week, middle of August we envisaged sipping beers & getting high in the height of summer in a pub/beer garden somewhere. NOPE. Torrential rain the whole 4 days we'll be there .
