  1. Week 38 Results Leeds 1-2 Southampton Plymouth 1-0 Hull Celtic 3-0 Hearts Girona 4-2 Barcelona Melbourne Victory 1-1 Melbourne City DC United 2-2 Philadelphia Hannover 3-2 Paderborn Empoli 0-0 Frosinone Man City Women 1-2 Arsenal Women AZ Alkmaar 2-1 Twente Round-up A time of season where titles are won and lost, races for Europe are coming to a head and relegations are suffered. Still time for a derby here and there, and a feisty one in Melbourne to predict for as part of this week. Championship came to a conclusion too with the first two games, and in Women's football Man City lost the chance to get one step closer to the title. As for the rankings, they've been swapping all season and despite not being next to each other in the table, @Bluebird Hewitt and @Viva la FCB swapped again. Mainly thanks for the former's 3 Perfect Scores to get 19 points and go up into 3rd to form a late challenge to @CaaC (John) in 2nd place. @Rucksackfranzose expertly predicted a 3-2 score-line in favour of Hannover to get a Prediction of the Week on the way to getting the 2nd-highest points tally of the week.
  2. Norris in 1st just as Sargent/Magnussen crash. Safety car out which is a bonus for Norris. Why does the SC come out ahead of Verstappen? Force of habit ?!
  3. Got away with it but it did look incredibly dangerous. Could have t-boned Verstappen or Sainz but somehow found the gap between the two!
  4. I'll bottle it What's the tie-breaker if anyone does finish level @Rucksackfranzose?
  5. Game 131 - 25th Game 132 - 33rd
  6. GAME 131 - CLUB BRUGGE vs FIORENTINA - WEDNESDAY 8th MAY, 17.45 (BST) GAME 132 - REAL MADRID vs BAYERN MUNICH - WEDNESDAY 8th MAY, 20.00 (BST) ***any predictions made after kick-off will not count*** @Mel81x @Lucas @6666 @Dr. Gonzo @Michael @Redcanuck @CaaC (John) @Devil-Dick Willie @JoshBRFC @Viva la FCB @Pyfish @Bluewolf @Tommy @Rucksackfranzose
  7. Tense games in relegation battles in both divisions for the latest games. One goal in Game 129 and there were no winners for the 40th-minute first (and only) goal. Game 130 had a first goal in the 17th minute though: 2 points 1 point @Rucksackfranzose climbs two places and is now joint with two other players on 15 points. Meanwhile, @6666 extends his lead at the right time - can he hold on until the end of the season?
  8. Makes me laugh when Tories talk about voter apathy as if that only works against one side. Well, they're also staying at home not voting for you, either...
  9. What's the plans for my team...
  10. End up last as well due to the 3-place grid penalty.
  11. Definitely will deserved. So happy for them that they saw it through. 195 pts in 2 seasons is insane.
  12. Birmingham must be gutted. Win but so do all the other sides above them Oh well!
  13. Brilliant from Adebayo. Too strong for Young. Letting a forward chest it when you're literally man-marking him is bad defending though.
  14. Lots of high scores leading into the final few weeks of the season! A very high one from @CaaC (John), who amassed 24 points to go up above @Lucas, and @Rucksackfranzose also climbed 1 place despite only scoring 7pts. Myself and @Storts swap places once again, and just above us @Dan got a Prediction of the Week for being the only one to predict the 1-1 draw between Man Utd & Burnley. And just above him, @Redcanuck scored the 2nd highest of the week with 19 points, and is now just shy of 500 points, a mark that @6666 did surpass.
  15. Tories taking a pounding in some of the local elections. About time Sunak calls a general election. It's just pure negligence now.

  18. all kick-offs 15.00 (BST) unless stated Friday 3rd May, 2024 Luton vs Everton, 20.00 (live on Sky) Saturday 4th May, 2024 Arsenal vs Bournemouth, 12.30 (live on TNT) Brentford vs Fulham Burnley vs Newcastle Sheff Utd vs Nottm Forest Man City vs Wolves, 17.30 (live on Sky) Sunday 5th May, 2024 Brighton vs Aston Villa, 14.00 Chelsea vs West Ham, 14.00 (live on Sky) Liverpool vs Tottenham, 16.30 (live on Sky) Monday 6th May, 2024 Crystal Palace vs Man Utd, 20.00 (live on Sky)
  19. Arsenal strengthened their grip on 1st place with two massive derby wins, one of those being against arch rivals Spurs, and in doing so actually damaged their opponents chances of a top 4 finish. Although Villa couldn't capitalise on that fully, the gap does extend to 7 points, and they look likely to finish in the top 4 to secure a CL spot. Liverpool are all but out of the title race after dropping points against West Ham. Man Utd surprisingly dropped points against Burnley, which allowed Newcastle to close the gap on 6th place to just 1 point. Chelsea continue their march towards a European place after doing the double over Spurs and now they have another London derby to contend with... The top 3 all have home games once again, but it seems like the Spurs vs Man City game is becoming ever more important to determine where the title may go...
