  1. We are constantly the makers of our own downfall.
  2. Ipswich lucky again with the Morsy foul not given.
  3. Brentford players shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad.
  4. Southampton have a player sent off against Ipswich despite not denying goalscoring opportunity. Tuanzebe does the same, blocking Sargent through on goal. No red.
  5. Great start for Palace! Mateta didn't even look ready for the pass Finished it will though.
  6. A wide range of scores for Week 31, as the highest score came from @6666, with 23 points. That means @Rajabhat Rovers's lead is cut down to 9 points as we head into the final weeks of the season. Or is it too late for the leader to lose out...? Next best is @Bluewolf who managed 17 points - this allowed him to go up to 8th, and got Prediction of the Week in the process as he was the only one to get Newcastle 1-1 Everton exact. @Rucksackfranzose is now level with @CaaC (John) and I am now level with @Storts.
  7. all kick-offs 15.00 (BST) unless stated Saturday 6th April, 2024 Crystal Palace vs Man City, 12.30 (live on TNT) Aston Villa vs Brentford Everton vs Burnley Fulham vs Newcastle Luton vs Bournemouth Wolves vs West Ham Brighton vs Arsenal, 17.30, (live on Sky) Sunday 7th April, 2024 Man Utd vs Liverpool, 15.30, (live on Sky) Sheff Utd vs Chelsea, 17.30 Tottenham vs Nottm Forest, 18.00 (live on Sky)
  8. We probably can't be far behind you. We've got Millwall away on a Tuesday night, then Plymouth away on the Friday night. I get they want to milk the promotion race to its max, but it's madness how much they do. They've moved Preston away for us as well to the Monday night before the final weekend. I think there needs to be a rule incorporated so that the final two matchdays are played at the same time on the same day. There's enough channels for them to have various matches still on, but don't fuck over the fans when it's at the most pivotal time of the season.
  9. Reminder @6666 @Redcanuck @Storts @Lucas @CaaC (John) @Bluewolf @Rucksackfranzose @nawoo
  10. Depends if Watkins is fit enough. I think you're right that you'll be safe. Especially given you play Sheff Utd on the day Luton play Man City away. I can see them getting a result at home to Bournemouth, but if you're beating Sheff Utd and Luton you'll be more than safe.
  11. UK needs to stop providing arms to Israel to begin with. Biden engaging with Netanyahu to open up more aid routes doesn't go far enough. Not least when it was so close after people were killed delivering aid to Palestine. Doesn't make sense. I don't know why US-UK and other nations in the West don't condemn Israel harder for what they're doing. Other nations have.
  12. The 3 sitting just above the drop zone all picked up valuable points against higher opposition, with Forest the only team out of the bottom 6 to win. Sheff Utd have to find a way of gaining 10 points in the final 8 games, very unlikely when you consider 3 of their last 5 are against opposition vying for a European place. Forest arguably have the most difficult fixture, perhaps along with Brentford. But it looks like the bottom 3 may find themselves cut adrift within the next 2 weeks...
  13. And just like that, a new player enters the game: Chelsea's last minute victory means they overtake Wolves into the top-half of the table, and are now only 2 points off 7th place. And they could actually overtake West Ham if they beat Sheff Utd and Wolves beat the Hammers. The top 3 all won, and Spurs missed out on the chance to go level with Villa who lost to Man City. They all play away this weekend, with Liverpool having the most difficult test against Man Utd. Looks like the race to finish 7th may go down to the wire given the amount of teams involved...
