Reverse for me . Saw Judge Dredd remake first. @topic Continued the Indonesian fight movie trend and watched Netflix's 'The Night Comes for us'. Not much of a story, but the fight sequences were nicely choreographed. And at times the gore and violence was more extreme than what we see in slasher and horror movies. Quite a fun film if you ignore the thin, threadlike plot and only want to see good action scenes. To take a break from the violence watched Netflix's ''The Half Of It'. It's a decent flick, that is somewhere between a romantic comedy and coming of age movie. Both the leads are likeable. The dialogues aren't that great at times, but overall it's a sweet, light romantic/coming of age/friendship flick.

@Bluewolf Sharknado is glorious mate. I mean, if you like really 'good bad' flicks, then Sharknado is up there with the best. Though people need to give The Shallows a watch, if you want to see a decent Shark movie. @topic Watched Raid Redemption and Raid 2 and my my what a couple of highly enjoyable action movies these two are. Up there with pure kick ass fighting movies like the John Wick series and The Man from Nowhere.

Watched Aamis an Indian film which makes it into my favourite Fucked-up movies. This is also a really well made, and visually pretty and we'll acted film, with melodious background score. @Mel81x give this watch. I will also recommend this to @...Dan. I know you like a well made fucked up story and don't mind foreign flicks.

Took a while to find them in the local market, due to the lockdown and restrictions, but my summer is now complete. Alphonso Mangoes.

Opposition here is putting pressure on government to open up, which I think will be a disaster. Even though our number of cases have substantially increased in the past week, our national death rate is still low. That will increase if we open up.

Watched Lone Survivor. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Then made the mistake of reading about the men involved in the true story. Not recommended. Takes the shine away from the story.

Just finished the latest season of Brooklyn Nine Nine, and it's decent. The usual brand of humour. Not bad but not that great either. Strictly alright. At least in the past, in terms of storylines, they did great. This season was low on that. Still decent.

Watched The Shallows, a decent movie with good thrills. Visually beautiful.

I have finally finished watching all five seasons of The Wire and it's glorious, glorious television. Why the fuck did I put this off for such a long time, I don't know. Comfortably walks into my favourite TV shows list. Love almost all the characters. And this is my jam now.

Wife is watching Pick of the Litter, and I gave it a glance. I hate to admit it but it's a really nice series, and has even turned me into liking dogs (still a cat person though).

We are expected to reduce restrictions post 4th May depending on the situation in the specific areas. Will most probably see villages opening up first. Can't see restrictions being lifted from most cities. Mine is the worst.

Watched Extraction and it's alright. I went into it knowing that there's not much of a story, so I didn't expect anything and just enjoyed the nicely shot action sequences. Apparently the director used to be a stunt director and was previously involved in movies like Atomic Blonde ( which I absolutely love). This movie is basically John Wick meets Man on Fire. A good one time watch, if you go in with zero expectations.

Yeah saw that. Apparently their tiff goes back to the Windies team, when Sarwan got Gayle sent back from the tour, because Gayle would watch TV all night which in turn prevented Sarwan from getting his sleep. Immature from both sides. I mean, these things are normal. This funnily reminds me of Sunil Gavaskar telling stories of how no one liked to share room with Sandeep Patil because he would always bring back girls, forcing his roomates to stay out all night .

Not indiscriminate firing, just using bullets for self defence ONLY against scum who are trying to kill them. I am tired of seeing cops with broken heads, bleeding profusely. People throwing massive blouders on them. Arseholes actually trying to kill them. And it's not one or two cases. Forget China and Iran, even in first world countries like USA and Aus, cops would shoot down people trying to kill them.
-
For me it would be Liverbird, the Trinidadian Barca fan and most importantly the Real Madrid fan Noel. I know Noel was coming to live in Hyderabad, India.
-
I wish our cops could shoot people who attacked them and the doctors. In any other country the authorities would be allowed to do that. All the gains made from the lockdown are being flushed down the drain. All I see are crowded markets with people celebrating their festival, and then attacking cops who try to stop them.

We are scaling up the use of plasma treatment by taking it from recovered patients, who are willing to donate.

Yep, half way into second season and it is amazing. You hate one character one moment for being selfish or idiotic, and in the next moment you love them for being smart or selfless. And the attention to detail is up there with Breaking Bad - like every move has a reason.
-
You misspelt Briana .

You just know this is what is going to eventually become of @DeadLinesman and people who break lockdown.

My favourite Covid 19 conspiracy is Bill Gates is Thanos, and how his vaccine will ensure that only half the population lives - and his vaccine like Thanos' snap will not discriminate on the lines of gender, race, etc. Just get rid of half the population. Anti vaxxers, I tell ya .

Quite an eye opener on cops, politicians, celebrities, gangsters and terrorists from one of our finest super cops.
