Just seen Schar's red on Twitter and don't see why everyone's losing their minds over it. I agree that players shouldn't be sent off for that and if anything the player that pretends to be injured should be booked, but like, this isn't new. The rule has been "touch someone with your forehead and you're getting sent off" for about 20 years.

We started well but when you have fast players against slow players you can literally just run past them and score and Brighton did just that. Too bad we hate signing fast players.

I just watched season one of Gen V after finishing S4 of The Boys. I do find it funny after how much they've taken the piss out of Disney and Marvel that they've made their own spin off series which has seen characters imported into their main series forcing you to watch the spin off to fully understand who they are. Not sure if it's hypocrisy or just taking the Marvel meme to the next level .

Just to let everyone know, after 6 years I've decided not to carry on running this. Life is getting busier and I was quite patchy last season. I don't feel like I can commit to getting an update done every Monday/Tuesday in good time between each set of games and also tag people to remind them on Thursday or Friday (alongside running the F1 predictions as well). It's been fun! If anyone else wants to take charge and carry it on they absolutely have my blessing to do so.

The disgrace here is the media, especially the BBC, and to some extent the two major parties who are all in some way culpable for allowing the debate on cultural issues and immigration to move further and further to the right. Farage's views used to be so extreme that they weren't allowed as part of the mainstream conversation. Nowadays the viewpoint that "immigration really isn't that much of a problem" is the one deemed an extremist and unrealistic view.
