Hoeneß, although always a pain in the ass for a neutral, has earned a lot of praise for the good work he did in relation of the position Bayern are in, both financially and sportswise. It´s been a good while since a Bayern academy player broke through, Müller might have been the last. Benko, Dorsch, Friedl and goalkeeper Früchtl are very talented academy players on their way to more playing time, it seems though.

Thomas Schaaf returns to Werder, as technical director. It´s nice to have such an iconic personality back at the league.
