https://voca.ro/1ojVwNnRNVqe Here's a rough push. Still needs a lot of cleanup on the treble line but it should give you an idea of why I am having a hard time transitioning.

I think that works only if you don't have a melody line sort of in your head or a mood you're after. Generally I'll play in a key and switch around it but this time it seems like no matter what I try I am not getting that smooth transition.

    Making Music

Been a while since I posted in here but here's the dilemma. So, I have a progression with a floating bass-line going from G->F->Bb->C and it cycles in two bars (4/4 for now). Now, my question to you both @Dr. Gonzo and @Happy Blue is that if you wanted a bridge what notes from the key of G or its aux would you use? You can do a 3 note or four note or 8 note bar if you want but I am looking to use the floating bass line in there. In essence, I'd like a root or its note complimentary notes to create a mood switch. I'll try and post something when I get a chance because honestly I am trying to push my fingers here and this little exercise is terribly taxing. P.S. If you want to skip the G and like any other key that's totally okay too I just used G because of the way I want to play this piece. Oh and before I forget its G-Maj.
  4. I'd hate to be a person that fucked up in this lady's house.
  5. Lets hope they all stay fit for a while now.
  6. PC version has tons of issues. the console versions are far better or so I am reading.
  7. Saw the Hogwarts release and I'll pass. Harry Potter was never my cup of tea. Especially when next month Capcom drops RE4:Remake.
  8. They'll claim it was a stray celebration balloon from the Chinese New Year.
  9. I'd wait for it on PS Plus, it's not worth the money honestly.
  10. I had issues with Ghostwire myself but I find this is a bit better to get into. I can see how folks would get frustrated very easily with it though.
  11. Finally got around to playing Returnal yesterday. I quite like it and I get why a lot of folks stayed away from it.
  12. Been a while since I donated so put in a 20. Thanks for keeping things running Rab.
  13. That guitar + bass riff. Yummy. Nice to see them cut a new album.
  14. It's a really nice story if you read the Mechner's blog post in the tweet. Crazy to imagine what it went on to do considering it flopped initially.
  15. Lightyear stops production on €250,000 solar-powered EV | TechCrunch The irony in this is that they started with a price that automatically boxed out the segment of the population that you want solar in the hands of so you can actually see a change. Charging 250K for a device/vehicle/robot-assistant/spouse-replacement is not the way to ensure that energy consumption is controlled. I don't get why companies don't see this. Sure, make a 250K vehicle but if you make a 40K one with infrastructure options you'll get to being a billionaire faster.
  16. I remember him too. Used to collect Star Wars memorabilia for his missus. No idea what happened to him.
  17. Thats how it started And this is how its going. So, as a person who works in this industry sees it all. Would you really take a sick leave if you knew that they were just axing folks? This after they just did a 60+ billion acquisition and they are now investing heavily in ChatGPT for Bing. One could argue that with an AI doing all the hard work and a trainable model the need for a lot of folks in that division is really going to get watered down. Sad stuff but it was always coming. And, this is just the start.
  18. Came up randomly on the YT playlist. One of the best things I saw in 2010 and even a decade later.
  19. You might enjoy this @Beelzebub Always amazes me how they've lit the FGC with the way they play and the restrictions too.
  20. Wished it was a bit longer too. Was a great game from the start to finish.
  21. Military device with biometric database of 2K people sold on eBay for $68 | Ars Technica You really can't fix dumb. This device ended up on eBay and got shuffled around till someone found it and reported it. This may have been classified information, but it also highlights a massive flaw in so-called "intelligence" components of the military or whatever they are calling the folks with guns who protect us now. How someone didn't have a policy to destroy this device is beyond me. I have insider knowledge here so I'll say this, I used to work for a company that had a division which did hardware RMA and one of their customers was Apple (Apple was the contract holder and they just supplied the hardware). They'd sell them tons of hardware components, MCUs, EDRAM, etc. and not once would they allow something to come back from their customers because they would personally go there and destroy the device with a special machine which literally shreds the metal and then melts it like a T-1000 in T2. And, once it's a glob of paste they still wouldn't let that thing out the door or the server space. They were so secretive about their customer data that they'd put funny SKUs on components just to ensure that no one knew what exact kind of hardware was being sold. Corporate customer care for security trumps national security measures and that, to me, is worrying.
