  1. So he's following Patrick Dempsey's footsteps then? Looks pretty good. The episode feels a bit too short though...
  2. Comes across as an all-round nice guy. A fantastic driver as well... Should have been given a proper go at F1 some 5-6 years ago.
  3. Yes, it's a 100% remote job. I am just given deadlines for the completion of specific projects but the rest of the time managing is entirely up to me... Love the freedom of that and hope I'll never have to set foot into an office ever again haha. But in general I dislike desk jobs.
  4. Nah thankfully nothing like that... we're working solely with healthcare industry and professionals It's not the most exciting of jobs I've done in my life so far but it has a lot of perks...especially in terms of flexibility which is a big one for me.
  5. Sounds fun... I'm currently working with data; mostly research/mining/cleansing & database upkeep for a data brokering company.
  6. It's great... Season 1 particularly. Season 2 was ok. Looking forward for the next one.
  7. Less than 1 tenth slower than Kvyat in his first ever F1 test drive Once again proving what a great driver he is...
  8. Max driving Honda's first race winning F1 car - a RA272 powered by a 1.5-litre V12 Honda engine Richie Ginter won the Mexican GP in 1965 with it.
  9. Yeah I know that Was wondering what that entails.
  10. https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/11656762/formula-1-in-2019-which-driver-are-you-take-our-personality-quiz A bit of silly fun. I got...
  11. What is it exactly that you do? Install spying software?
  12. This is brilliant... Commander Hadfield is definitely my all time favourite (ex)astronaut. His autobiography is a great read as well...
  13. Igora is the name of the ski resort complex there (and the circuit is nearby) so the road infrastructure should be decent. Bus and trains for sure. A good thing is actually very reachable for the Finns too so that would almost certainly serve as a "home race" for them.
  14. Sochi is set to undergo a lot of new developments apparently so I understand that's the main reason why they'd want the race to be relocated to another circuit. St. Petersburg is indeed fantastic... but the track is over 70 km away haha.
  15. More reports that Igora Drive near St. Petersburg might be replacing Sochi as the circuit of the Russian GP: https://www.racefans.net/2019/10/07/why-sochi-may-yet-lose-the-russian-grand-prix-to-igora-drive/ Would be a welcome move. The track looks decent and the initial feedback from the DTM drivers has been extremely positive.

I agree that education is important but it also depends on what you're studying. A lot of degrees nowadays are essentially useless - either because of the subject matter (shite like "gender studies") or lack of a viable job market now or in the near future so it turns out to be a waste of time and money.
  17. Nobody's. He'll just drive in the 1st free practice session instead of Gasly. That's Honda's marketing in Japan mostly.
  18. This was planned for a long time and he's been preparing for it during the summer in the simulator Yamamoto is a class driver but it's just a nice gesture and nothing else...
