Haha give it a go; I've read reviews of people who enjoyed it...

Lang deal is officially done! A one-year loan with an option to buy. Perfect really; if he does well we can always make the deal permanent but this gives us freedom to look for a young talent to be Gebre Selassie's replacement for the future.
-
Doubt we'll sign any more defenders; we already spent around 15 million this summer (including Lang) and if we don't manage to get Bentaleb from Schalke I don't think we will sign anyone else before the window closes.

Full 2020 race calendar has been released. 22 races; Hoffenheim is gone

So SpaceX has successfully complete the final Starhopper test flight yesterday where the prototype launch vehicle lifted 150m into the air, moved sideways and then gently put itself back down onto the ground. One step closer to a manned Mars flight. Beautiful capture: Also an image showing the actual size of the vehicle: More details: https://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2019/08/faa-spacexs-starhopper-hop/

We're apparently looking into signing Gladbach's Michael Lang. Wouldn't be the worst of transfers; a reliable right back who can also help out in CB or even in LB if need be. Not the most spectacular one but I don't think we're in a position to complain at this point.

They pretty much applied the X-Wing design to a car; very clever
-
Bingo! Nah FIA banned it in time before qualifying at Monaco

Still better than this one: Bonus points for naming the driver.

The Kid (2019) A western about Billy the Kid with Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio; the trailer was decent so I thought it would be enjoyable enough. Turned out to be way too slow paced and, frankly, just plain boring- and that's coming from someone who enjoys both Westerns AND slow build up normally. Meh. Waste of time. 5/10

MRT screening confirmed Toprak's muscle and tendon injury; he'll be out for about 6 weeks. It's getting ridiculous.
-
Oh I can definitely relate to that haha. Astronaut sounds cool but these days I would prefer working on the technical side of things if I had a chance...

No worries if we get selected we'll just smuggle you in Nice What are you missing for the full 100%? And you never know; give it a go haha. I'd like to be able to boast I used to chat with an astronaut on a football forum Got this book recently and it contains loads of samples of actual tests used in astronaut selection; a nice brain workout at any case.

There is a chance that Spec 4 power unit could be introduced in Spa already as the development has been very good and Honda are almost finished with it; that's reportedly 25HP extra and it's allegedly the gap to Mercedes' current specification. Hope it happens in Spa indeed as that's a good track to take the penalties; would still have a chance to finish high and then continue with a new spec in Monza with no penalties. Really looking forward to it.

Pizarro as a CB next match?
-
So now Toprak is injured as well and most likely will only be available after the international break. We're kind of running out of defenders here...

That's Rey, not Princess Leia I'm not normally a big fan of theme parks but I'd love a visit to the Galaxy's Edge...

So apparently Bentaleb was so impressed after meeting our team representatives and learning about Kohfeldt's philosophy of playing football and our ambitions that he informed Schalke he wants to join Werder and no any other club Very interesting read: https://www.weser-kurier.de/werder/werder-bundesliga_artikel,-bentaleb-will-unbedingt-zu-werder-_arid,1854800.html

A new Formula 1 team is looking to join the grid in time for the 2021 season https://www.racefans.net/2019/08/23/new-f1-team-panthera-seeking-to-join-grid-in-2021/ Panthera Team Asia Short summary: - They want to follow the Haas model - Benjamin Durand (former director of SMP Racing and BR Engineering) is the founder of the team - Tim Milne (Renault, Honda, Super Aguri, Toyota, Caterham and Manor) is Head of aerodynamics - Engine deal has already been signed - No official announcement yet; FIA is expected to open the tender after the new regulations are confirmed
-
We're kind of good at given second chances to talented players so I'm cautiously optimistic. Not much of a risk either since it's initially a loan deal and Schalke will most likely pay part of his wages haha.
-
So the Bentaleb deal is apparently almost done; a loan with an option to buy. Can't wait for him to score the winning goal against Schalke later this season
