  1. I was under impression it is CalMex and TexMex though; not authentic Mexican food as such? Like all this Chinese or Indian or Thai food in the West that is just adapted to the taste of westerners and while it surely tastes amazing it doesn't really represent traditional cuisine of a country that well... Oh and you have to eat Beijing Duck!!!
  2. What a surprise! Which part of the Wall did you go to? I'm thinking going to Mutianyu when I'm in Beijing...
  3. I had a pretty bad one when I was flying from Helsinki to Bangkok years ago; was seriously wondering if they'd let me into the country Nah wasn't that bad, but I really felt like crap. Too much whisky, dry cabin air, dehydration, high altitude... It sucks. So I only drink beer on planes ever since then. That said, I have no trouble sleeping on planes (or anywhere else, for that matter), whether sober or not.
  4. A hangover on the plane is bloody awful though If I drink too much onboard I wake up completely dehydrated and that's about the worst thing on a long-haul flight
  5. Seb & Mick finished second in ROC Nations Cup overall after losing against Tom Kristensen and Johann Kristofferson in the final... Individual ROC takes place tonight!
  6. Turkish Airlines for sure. Haven't even heard of the other two... Flew Turkish once, and my father used to use it regularly in the past. It's very good unless something changed dramatically in recent years.
  7. Germany - Infinitum Mexico: Seb wins against Rojas Mick loses against Guerra
  8. Round 1: Germany - France Seb wins against Gasly Mick wins against Duval
  9. Mick in Sauber for 2021 Callum Ilott, Giuliano Alesi, Marcus Armstrong, Robert Schwartzman, Enzo Fittipaldi and Gianluca Petecof are also official confirmed to join the academy.
  10. I suggest we go to Mos Eisley.
  11. And your internet connection is working! At least now we know we're not blocked in China...
  12. Yes, if you don't have money or contacts, you're offside...
  13. I personally find the accusations outrageous Am considering taking R2D2 and the last case of whisky I hid in the sick bay and going rogue.
  14. All crew cabin have en-suite facilities; I was just using it as an excuse to find that liquor storage...
  15. Finally found the plans of the ship... I was getting lost everytime I went to the bathroom at night!... Check it out carefully; it even has a "liquor storage" (24) right next to the crew cabins (23) We did get ourselves the best ship possible indeed...
  16. Arcadia sounds good! I also agree with giving the captain's position to Mel81x as it looks like he's/she's/it is the only person onboard that can fly this thing anyway! Robbie has more important things to do... speaking about that, who's in charge of the supplies??? I need some free space in the cargo room for a few boxes of, erm... personal items...
  17. And here's a nice simple visualisation showing how the rings form:

    Animals

Geez I don't know how those divers can even swim with those massive balls of steel... You wouldn't get my anywhere near that thing... It's a magnificent animal though.
  19. Ah, and here we go - starting as a Mars colonist ship and turning into smuggling, terrorising bunch of pirates in just a few hours...
  20. May I suggest... That will either intimidate everyone or get us killed
  21. Yes although HAL killing the crew was the result of him going insane as a result of this error... Basically his primary programming was "accurate processing of information without distortion or concealment", yet his orders for the mission required him to keep the discovery of the Monolith and the real purpose of the mission a secret for reasons of national security. This contradiction created the aforementioned Hofstadter-Moebius loop reducing HAL to experiencing symptoms of schizophrenia and paranoia. So in the end HAL made the decision to kill the crew, allowing him to obey both his hardwired primary instructions to report data truthfully, and his orders to keep the purpose of the mission a secret. Poor HAL; so misunderstood and as always it's the fault of the humans in the end!
  22. He'll serve me us well... Hey we can also run the ship the old school pirate democracy style anyway...
