  1. Our new official podcast is great. @Relling you might be interested! I especially recommend #5 with Jürgen L. Born; it's great!
  2. Jesus Christ, that's so fucking embarrassing
  3. Yeah that was extremely stupid and outright dangerous.... I generally don't like pointing fingers at what happened years ago; especially since he was 15 and got his ban and that's it as much as I'm concerned, but I don't like him and his attitude and think he's pathetically childish anyway. What comes across as really salty though is the fact that he's not concentrating on his performances instead; he was out-qualified by both of his teammates in all 3 qualis this weekend, and even both Carlin guys were in front of him in two of them, yet somehow he feels like he's being "robbed of a championship"?... Sore loser.
  4. Ticktum is having a meltdown on social media; basically insinuating that Prema/Mick and Schvartzman are somehow cheating and saying he's being robbed of a championship and that he is "fighting a losing battle as my last name is not Schumacher"; then goes on to call people who question his post "nobodies". What a tit haha.
  5. Well done Schvartzman, finally a win for him! He's been very impressive this season, especially considering he's a rookie too... It's a pity Mick couldn't get 3/3 again, but he's done great at any case and now extends his lead to 49 points. He only needs not to fuck it up completely in the last race weekend and the title will be his! Aberdein defended very well keeping Ticktum behind him for most of the race. Prema wins the team championship again already.
  6. Yep they are the only ones doing 1:24 laps again and again while everyone else is doing 1:25... Ticktum will either overtake Aberdein or crash again
  7. Good start by Schvartzman as he overtakes Mick and defends his lead despite Mick looking a bit faster afterwards. Ticktum up to 4th.

What a strange parrot! Really looks like a dinosaur and tries to shag anything that moves
  9. Yes, I'm definitely taking some time off once these projects are finished. Might have a friend visiting for a week or so, so that would be great. My new bungalow should be ready in about 10 days too, and then some family from Germany should come for a visit next month Are you going to a gym? I can't stand it I just have a 45 minute or so bodyweight workout routine for different muscle groups + swimming + cycling. Does wonders for me whenever I need to tone a little bit, haha.
  10. Busy with work lately, already clocking in 60+ hours this week and it won't get much better until next Thursday when the deadline passes. Rain non-stop is being replaced with scorching sun and 35+ heat and then it's back to rain non-stop again. I thought the humidity ruined one of my cameras but luckily, I was able to clean the sensor today so it's a relief. The Italian restaurant had their stone oven broken, which meant no pizza for a while, but I finally got one today and it's marvelous. Also started exercising properly again so can hardly walk now.
  11. 43 points ahead of Ticktum now + a pole for the last race in Spielberg today, so the gap can increase even further if all goes according to plan. Then 3 last races of the season in Hockenheim next month, and it's all over. Doesn't even need to win, just get into points and the title is his. Brilliant turnaround. Hope to see him in a Prema seat in F2 next season.
  12. Pole for Mick for both Races 2 and 3 tomorrow! A chance for another clean sweep and a huge step towards the title.
  13. So what? They might be more experienced in getting their opinions published and getting paid for it; it doesn't make them any more qualified or their opinion worth more than mine or yours or that of any other average person if they don't have any other qualifications to show for.
  14. To be honest, I take movie reviews and opinions of people on here such as Tsubs, Ignis, Dan, ASF and many others more seriously than any of the professional movie critics, even when I don't agree with them, as they are actually able to argue their case instead of relying on their reputation and inflated self-importance.
  15. Heute blau, morgen blau, und übermorgen wieder...
  16. The only requirement to be a critic on RT is two years' experience of writing movie reviews; it doesn't require proven cinematic or journalistic education. So in the end, it's just another opinion from another person, nothing else. The only film critics I personally enjoy are Red Letter Media; and that's only because they're entertaining without taking themselves too seriously.
  17. Why? I'm sorry, I don't buy your appeal to authority. I can accept that some of them have more technical knowledge and can most likely evaluate camera work, sound, lighting and similar filmmaking aspects better than the general audience (at least those who are actually trained in film theory and filmmaking; not those who are just good at bulshitting and making a career out of it - so pretty much the majority). Other than that, they are not more qualified to rate a movie than your average viewer with half a brain.
  18. And some movie critic's opinion is somehow a fact though?... You're right in that film - as any other form of art - is highly subjective and it's always a matter of opinions. The Last Jedi was visually stunning, but almost everything else (storyline, pacing, character backstories and development (and even character assassination in certain cases), plot holes and logic) was not good at the very least; that's why the audience generally disliked it.
  19. Well received by whom? The so-called "film critics"? Fair enough some of them like them but they're not good films
