Yeah, I probably should and I considered learning it properly once I arrived, but decided against it. It's a weird language and as long as English + bits and pieces of Khmer suffice in daily situations, I don't really have enough motivation to learn it for some reason, haha. Never happened to me before.

Not that much. I know the basics for daily situations (e.g. greetings, polite expressions, introductions, ordering stuff in a restaurant, asking for a bill, numbers, directions and then various basic words for different things), but I wouldn't be able to string a few sentences together otherwise... Why?

Yeah, he admitted it's his fault and said he completely misjudged the situation... Tough penalty, but he deserved it. At least not a race ban haha.

I loved watching Germany's national women's team when Silvia Neid was in charge, especially the 2007 World Cup in China. That squad was sort of a "golden generation" for me, with the players like Prinz, Laudehr, Grings, Angerer, Bajramaj... It truly was a joy to watch. They won it and defended the title without conceding a single goal too. Also that Brazilian striker Marta was (is?) incredible, easily the best women's football player for me.

I remember bits of Phantom Menace, but never really watched them all in full...

Do yourself a favour and watch Cobra Kai, a 10 episode sequel to the Karate Kid. I was very skeptical, but it's actually great!

Just finished rewatching the original trilogy of Star Wars. Love it - still 10/10 Next up - the prequels...

PS: MotoGP race in Silverstone is cancelled because they are unable to deal with the rain, the newly laid surface is apparently to blame.

P5 for Mick after starting from 8th! Rain and a lot of action, that was a great race. Mick vs Ticktum and Vips v Habsburg just two examples of some great wheel-to-wheel racing, the championship fight is great this year.

It was not a brake failure, he made a mistake by messing his braking point completely.

Mick has been on fire ever since getting his first pole...Victories in Spa and Silverstone, and now the next pole and a win in Misano! He seems to be a bit of a late bloomer, but now he's finally starting to show his true potential! Rising to 4th in driver championship too, good stuff.
