  1. Well Nostradamus, it seems like they are about to do it indeed https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/montoya-tipped-for-24h-le-mans-debut-with-united-autosports/
  2. Yes, and it seems that it will be accessible for both types of subscriptions - F1 TV Pro (full, live coverage, more expensive) and F1 TV Access (non-live, only data/radio commentary/race highlights, less expensive), so it's a good option for those primarily interested in the archive! Before the subscription website was taken down today, the price for the cheaper tier was 2.99€/month, so very fairly priced, in my opinion. Might be priced differently in other countries though (France's pricing was mad, full access at 170€/year compared to Germany's 65€ )
  3. Commercial free live coverage of each race, including all practice sessions, qualifying, pre- and post-race interviews and press conferences. Race coverage includes team radios, live data, on-board camera feeds from all 20 cars, and the possibility to split the screen for a custom head-to-head driver feeds. Plus live races of the main support series (F2, GP3 and Porsche Super Cup) and access to the video archive of of F1 races since 1981. Here's their promo:
  4. Granted, he also struggled in NASCAR (which is, in my opinion, an awful racing series, but driving heavy stock cars that are hard to handle is a difficult task nonetheless), but I think the whole culture there didn't suit him either, just like it was the case with him and F1 before that. Did well in IndyCar, and this is his first team in IMSA driving for Team Penske now, I'll keep an eye on him hehe. As for Senna, the drivers back then were a completely different breed, but so was motorsport in general. Raw racing, lack of safety, and completely different characters and attitudes. I think it's impossible to tell how certain drivers from the past would do in today's F1, but it's safe to say that it has become very different and has lost a big part of its magic.
  5. Both are too hot headed and lose their composure easily; unlike Crashtor Maldonado, Montoya's a good driver though
  6. Not too into the number of crashes rising by 150% in every race
  7. By the way, F1 TV subscriptions are already available and it should go on air tomorrow! It's priced at 7.99€/month or 64.99€/year (in Germany) - https://sit.formula1.com/en/subscribe-to-f1-tv-pro.html#de Countries with access to F1 TV: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong King, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uganda, UAE, Ukraine, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela and Zimbabwe. 8. he probably spent too much time around Hamilton...
  9. Only doing the accents for you Zarco is definitely a very good rider, and his single lap pace is immense, and all that on a satellite bike! He needs to work on his race strategy a bit though, every time he's upfront he seems to get carried away and forgets all about tire management, something that he's normally known for being really good at. So in the end, he's getting played by the other riders who just led him lead, and then easily overtake him once he's got nothing left. I'm really keen to see him on a factory-spec bike, whether Yamaha or any other, next season, and hope he plays it smarter in the future, could well be a title contender then.
  10. Dovi - Márquez - Rossi podium. Feel sorry for Zarco, but he literally burned his tires off, still has a lot to learn. Also, wtf happened to Lorenzo? It looked like some sort of mechanical failure... Márquez doing the usual Márquez stuff; it is mad how he seems to defy the laws of physics, anyone else would have crashed after that contact with Zarco's knee, he manages to somehow save it
  11. What a finish, what a last corner!!! Dovi!
  12. well you got your answers, it's pretty common in Swabia and Austria, while the rest of Germany finds it odd. Which is more or less a general rule for everything else, too
  13. Hehe, it was planned, you reckon? That dog is really lovely, haha. Nah, to be honest, I've always seen her as an old, lonely women far away from home, so I've always been nice and wasn't really annoyed, as she wasn't too pushy and knew when to stop once she noticed I'm really not interested. Still find it amusing how anyone would think it's possible to spark someone's interest by annoying them during their lunch break
  14. Granted, I know her and we've had small talk a few times at the same restaurant in the past; she always brings her dog with her and I like to pet him, but I didn't know she was a Jehovah's Witness, and didn't expect her to suddenly go on a full apocalyptic mode Just told her I've got no interest in being saved and don't really care about the world ending either, that was enough for her to change the topic
  15. For me, that would be WEC, as I prefer car racing over motorbike racing in general, love endurance and the genuine racing action and absolutely nothing beats 24 hours of Le Mans for me. That said, MotoGP comes close and is very entertaining. I still like F1, even if it's gotten boring and lacks charisma, but with GT racing on the rise and providing entertainment across so many different series, it's not really a big loss, personally.
  16. Yamaha wants to keep Zarco that bad, they even consider giving him a factory-spec bike next season, haha. For that to happen though, they'll need to find a new satellite team and make sure Zarco signs for them... I, for one, would be happy to see Zarco riding and winning with KTM bike next year
  17. Touché. It's not that bad though, I had Krautspätzle mit Kasseler before, could be worse haha.
  18. No, it's pretty common in some regions in South Germany and in Austria, especially the one with sauerkraut. They also often add some smoked meat into the mix.
