  1. Ah, the AFC Cup, I think Aizawl (spelling?) is also there now after being knocked out of the CL qualification.
  2. @Mel81x are there any Indian clubs taking part in the AFC Champions League this season?
  3. I've been to a few matches in Thailand and Cambodia in the past, but there is no local team (in the first or second tier( that I can regularly follow in my area at the moment, so I've been restricted to casually attending amateur/youth matches for fun only. Which is a pity, as the locals are extremely passionate about football and the atmosphere is quite nice, in general. I'm particularly interested in Thai and Vietnamese football, so that's the two main leagues I try to follow, but certainly keep an eye on Cambodian League too, as well as the general news on the latest developments in the region.
  4. Since we have a shitload of threads about other obscure leagues, why not A nice (if slightly dated) overview of football in Southeast Asia as The Last Frontier of the Football World.
  5. I personally like the black/navy one better, think it would look quite good when worn with jeans!
  6. Found this little gem today, some of you might be interested: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7841526/
  7. No, it's just because most people feel strongly about food
  8. I was not being entirely serious, but the main reason of applying that logic selectively is probably because vegetarianism/veganism is an individual lifestyle choice (unless there are certain medical reasons) unlike the necessity of earning a living or limiting the number of offspring.
  9. Yes, and both sedentary lifestyle (8 hours a day in an office) and hormonal contraception are detrimental to one's health too, so only serves as a further example how not doing what we're hardwired to do is essentially bad for us
  10. Well not anymore, considering they have been banned.
  11. So as expected, F1 are replacing grid girls with grid kids Going from exploiting women to forced children labour, well done, Liberty Media
  12. But...but...fish have feelings too
  13. I liked Niki Lauda's comment on it, he said something along the lines of how stupid it was to ban the grid girls and use sexism as the main argument for it, considering that it was men who made this decision over the heads of women because they think they know what's best I really don't get it anyway, who the fuck is offended by the presence of young beautiful women in motorsports (or anywhere else, for that matter)?... just another example of the world going too far with "political correctness".
  14. Massive crash 15 minutes before the end of the race today... Race suspended and not resumed anymore.
  15. Bathurst 12 Hours is live now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwLVSX1p_nM What a lovely track it is.

    Off Topic

Not really a fan of rice beer and not a fan of cans at all, but Sapporo from the pint-sized steel can is lovely.
  17. Liberty Media are bastardising Formula 1 and won't stop until it's sterile, dull and soulless entertainment; typical American showbiz like. New shitty logo, halos, no grid girls, microphones on exhaust, ewwwww
  18. Rashica is now officially confirmed (7.5m, apparently), and we're close to signing Sebastian Langkamp too!
  19. Didn't realise that, I've been a bit out of loop when it comes to football lately Yeah, it's a lot of money for us, and for that amount, I expected someone who's already proven in the league and could help us directly. It's great if it turns out well, but at this point, he's just a talented Wundertüte
