Nonsense, whisky is the water of life
  2. Yes, read that earlier today, apparently he's supposed to be a back up for both LB and CB, which makes sense considering Caldirola is expected to leave before the transfer window closes.

Oh, I don't think I would endure a full basketball match these days. I only do some bodyweight exercise and some swimming, my cardio is horrible I reckon.
  7. Philippines have some weird-ass names, I once met one called Peanut and that was NOT a nickname.
  8. Depends on how well they implement it, it could be a bit of a hit and miss. I had a WEC subscription last season, 35€ for what is essentially 80+ hours of HQ live racing plus full replays on demand. However, their site is a bit buggy and their app used to be even worse, so sometimes it was a bit of a nuisance, but I will renew the subscription for the new season too, most likely. I imagine F1 streaming service would be more expensive.
  9. Watched it, loved it. Ceres' 2nd goal was class.

Meh, sports always carry a risk of injury; basketball is not that bad as there's not so much contact in general. I had my fair share of jammed fingers and a few ankle sprains during my ten year's of playing, and it also tends to wear your knees out, but in general, it's not too bad. I found athletics (track&field) much worse to be honest, especially on joints and muscles. George's injury happened because the stanchion was too close, Ware's one was a freak accident, very uncommon, so bad luck more than anything else. Horrible to watch though!
  11. Didn't see that coming So the greedy cunts wanted exclusive rights and threw their toys out of the pram once it wasn't granted? I imagine they'll lose a lot of customers as a result, limited Bundesliga, no F1, and generally shit programme. ORF for the win!
  12. No, we only really have Augustinsson for LB/LWB, so Friedl as a backup could make sense, but I'd rather give a chance to our own youth, especially considering we have a promising LB talent in Jacobsen...
  13. I thought he's more of a left-back? I'm a bit baffled by this loan deal at any case, to be honest, especially if it's only for the rest of the season. Don't think he's going to make it to the first team, unless as a backup for Augustinsson.

Just reading that made me feel sick... I badly twisted my ankle during a basketball game in high school, resulting in torn ligaments and suspected partial fracture, it was horrible
  15. Marco Friedl set to join us on a loan deal.
  16. I inherently despise 99% of all politicians, but Kühnert is at least a bit of a fresh wind. Or so it seems.
  17. I'll just have the official livestream running in the background the whole day (and night)
  18. Haha, probably. He drove in Daytona in 2016 already too, to be fair, for Ford Ganassi together with Brendon Hartley, Alex Wurz and Andy Priaulx (mad team!). Did well too, just missed the podium due to overheating problems. Although he did crash the car in the pre-race event
  19. Anyone will be watching 24 hours of Daytona this weekend? Can't wait, such a great grid and plenty of top drivers, including Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris teaming up at United Motorsports (Paul di Resta in team's 2nd car), Lance Stroll and Alex Brundle driving for Jackie Chan Racing, René Rast for Mazda. There's also Felipe Nasr, Christian Fittipaldi, Juan Pablo Montoya, Mike Rockefeller and a lot of other well-known names from various racing series.

Yes Anton, nobody goes to Pattaya for beaches They are even dirtier than all the bars of the Walking Street. The islands are the best for sure, but the whole Krabi area including the mainland has amazing beaches in general.
