  1. All I can say is Im so happy Jon Stewart is back Hes been going for a few weeks now but heres his latest. Brilliant.
  2. I will try most things at least once and having a more open mind means trying some very odd combinations and flavours, on the topic sure Id try it. Having traveled to very different parts of the world and eventually marrying a Filipino here at some point has definitely opened my eyes. However the one dish I have turned down trying was Balut... Its a fertilized developing egg embryo...usually duck I think? I just cant do it man.
  3. It caught me completely off guard but I will say it was a breathe of fresh air to watch. That being said youre absolutely right and going down 3-1 in the first half they should have locked up shop going into the second half.
  4. I find myself more and more disappointed about not having PC releases having taken the plunge on an ultra wide now. I dont want to play it on PS5 but I dont know If i can wait for this one Speaking of which I saw Ghosts of Tsushima has a PC release coming finally
  5. Credit to Mainz for not sitting back. The first half especially was quite a high press and made for a very exciting back and forth. In the end maybe not the best idea though Gruda looks like a real gem for them, he was all over the place.

Its great seeing him in his element. It definitely seemed more off the cuff this time, he went down some rabbit holes before circling back to his original joke or subject. I watch a fair amount of comedy shows but its just different seeing some of the top guys like him or Chappelle or Carr. If you ever get the chance do it, you wont regret it man! and thanks guys! fairly low key birthday, Went out for a nice dinner.. getting old

Went to see Bill Burr again around my birthday a few weeks back. My Second time seeing him and I think he was even better then I remember. He went off on a tangent a few times and went overtime by his own admission. Great show, will watch him anytime I can.
  8. Just finished up True Detective: Night Country (season 4) I really liked this one. A very different feel then the other seasons. Somewhat reminiscent of season 1 with the sort of supernatural feel, kind of like local superstitions going on. Jodie Foster was immense, her and her partner Kali Reis where both excellent. I highly recommend checking it out, it was only 6 episodes this time around. I dont know where I would rank it in the hierarchy of True Detective but Season 1 is still the gold standard probably and I dont think this was too far behind much like season 3.
  9. Awesome to hear. Even his agent seems likeable!
  10. Funny enough I watched the RB Madrid match last night and I kinda feel better
  11. Düsseldorf 1-2 Hamburg Braunschweig 1-1 Rostock Schalke 1-2 Paderborn Kiel 1-2 Karlsruhe Wehen 1-2 Hannover Magdeburg 1-2 Nürnberg St Pauli 2-1 Hertha BSC Lautern 2-2 Osnabrück Fürth 2-1 Elversberg
  12. Stuttgart 2-1 Union Bayern 4-0 Mainz Leipzig 3-0 Darmstadt Gladbach 2-0 Köln Augsburg 1-2 Heidenheim Bremen 0-2 Dortmund Bochum 0-2 Freiburg Frankfurt 1-1 Hoffenheim Leverkusen 2-0 Wolfsburg
  13. Lorient 0-2 Lyon Bologna 0-2 Inter Milan Brighton Women 0-1 Man Utd Women Toronto 1-1 Charlotte Indepediente 1-2 River Plate MacArthur 1-1 Central Coast Bristol City 1-2 Swansea Alaves 0-0 Rayo Vallecano Celtic 3-0 Livingston Young Boys 1-2 Basel
  14. Great news. Hes had an excellent season and hopefully the new coach can integrate him a little better into the starting squad.
  15. Agreed. I dont remember Neuer having to make a save. There was the one header Immobile had that was a pretty decent half chance he put wide off a De Ligt header I think? Even still these are the kind of matches we havent looked interested in for a few weeks now so Ill take it. As much as I've loved the revelation of Pavlovic its a different task to have him go up against City or Madrid let alone some of the other teams.
  16. Yeah that looked like a worldie from De Ligt on first play... which hes done a few of. Just typical Müller though in the end Solid performance overall anyways not much to complain about but lets see if we can get some momentum from this.
  17. Dier starting over Kim is a fucking travesty but the rest looks fine. Off I got to avoid spoilers and watch it later...
  18. Ive only watched the first episode but it was an excellent start! very much Last Samurai vibes. Also they filmed a bunch here locally to me
  19. Finished off Narcos. Overall pretty excellent. Love me some Pedro in everything he does.
  20. Thats what I remember! It feels like it was forvever ago now but in theatre's it was an awesome experience. Cant wait.
  21. Absolutely! Not all movies are made to be academy award winners or blockbusters. Im here for it. It actually releases today in theatres... dont worry its at the top of my list to see here in short order. I wanted to rewatch the first but I just dont know how it will hold up outside of theatres so I never ended up doing that.
  22. I too saw The Beekeeper and completely agree with nudge. The perfect Bee movie. It was full of puns and corny lines and over the top action. What more can you want or expect from this going in!?! Even the sales team in the beginning ripping off his neighbour was just so diabolical putting her on hold laughing as he drains her account, man it was just so good.
