  1. Absolutely brilliant man management from Farke. In what's been a really testing period, he's coming out of this so well and I've nothing but praise for how he's handled this Gnonto situation. He took a firm stance by making him train away from the team and equally, he's given him another chance realising kids make mistakes. It can only act as motivation for Gnonto now surely. As I said in the Gnonto transfer thread, his agent has been a right cunt and advised him of all the wrong things to do. He's a 19 year old kid whose realised he's bit off more than he can chew and gracefully apoligised. I can't fault that. He will need to win the fans back over because his name's been mud but in true Football fashion, if his performances on the pitch are good enough, fans will be fans and will forget. Looks like Sinisterra is also back in the fold now although I still wouldn't coubt my chickens him and Gnonto stay.
  2. Gillingham to beat Colchester 5/6 Norwich to beat Huddersfield 5/4 £10 on @ 3.13-1 wins £41.25 (Skybet)
  3. Hahahaha they both lost. What is the opposite to the Midas Touch?
  4. Ok, I'm going early this week, fuck it. A double on these National League games tonight please. Southend to beat Dorking Oldham to beat Halifax £10 @ 2.56/1 wins £35.61.
  5. Great day for the Bookie so far. Fingers crossed John lads his longshot tomorrow
  6. In less than a week, we've gone from starting Gnonto, Summerville and Sinisterra v Cardiff, to Poveda, Shackleton and Gelhardt v Brum. Summerville injury, Gnonto not happy with no sale, and now Sinsiterra looks to have done the same. Not even in the squad. Absolute turmoil.
  7. Gillingham? Fuck sake, Season over.
  8. Southampton to beat Norwich Watford to beat Plymouth £10 at 2.11 wins £31.69 Edit - Not sure if it counts but when I did this it added an 'Acca Boost' at Bet365 without me pressing anything. So if that isnt meant to count, deduct 52p from winnings.
  9. If, if, if...he goes, how on earth do Spurs replace him? Any targets mooted? It's like 20-25 PL goals guaranteed. Obviously £100m should net you a pretty good striker but we are talking about someone that offers more than just goals to their play. I guess there is a back up plan they have prepared for but that's a pretty daunting prospect and no guarantees they get their target either. Straight off the bat, I wonder if someone like Mitrovic would be a solid immediate stop gap?
  10. I'm going to hold my hands up and say I didn't see Kane going all Summer. So firstly, fair play to Bayern for never leaving the deal, they obviously had enough indication to keep them interested. I was wrong. He still might not of course, he holds all the cards now after all and could wait a year and have his pick. I guess it depends on his personal relationship with Levy. Does he help bring money into Spurs to strengthen by going? Or does he stay and want his pick of teams next Summer? I don't know how much of a bearing the failed move to Man City haunts him. I always always felt Kane was destined for Man Utd. It just felt like a transfer coming a mile off and if he left it a season, I'd probably put money on that one happening but it's all on how fussed he is over this domestic record over maybe a couple Bundesliga titles and a German cup.
  11. Well, after those injuries they simply had to act. Joe Rodon on a season long loan from Spurs looks close, as does Max Aarons from Norwich on a permanent from Norwich. Two players that instantly improve the First XI. Bit surprised about Aarons, I felt LB was more a pressing need and we have Drameh too when he's back from injury but it's clear Farke's not having Ayling there which is fine by me. Perhaps Drameh is off, sure it'll all come out soon. Gustavo Hamer heavily in the mix says Phil Hay from The Athletic, although Coventry are digging their heels in on the price. Leeds firmly interested. Sheffield United also involved now they are on the verge of selling Sander Berge to Burnley. I'd absolutely love to see him come in but we'll see, lots to do with that one yet and contrary to opinion, Sheff Utd are currently in the Premier League, whether that lasts a season or not. They can offer more wages. Nothing on a striker yet but it feels like movement is finally happening which also means, someone/s leaving. Adams to Chelsea close, I suspect maybe more in the background too. Just as Farke predicted, this is going to be a long fee weeks and this squad is going to look different come the start of September. Just a shame it's taken so long for the Chess pieces to move.
  12. Happy days. We've been a soft touch for ages and as much as it seems defenders these days have to look elegent, I want someone that's gonna chuck themselves about and get stuck in. Finally doing us a solid after nicking Robinson and Lennon off us
  13. Looks like Joe Rodon is coming... @Storts just never worked out for him at Spurs did it? Feels like a solid signing for the Championship at least.
  14. Wow. This is genuinely unbelievable bad luck. As if we've not had bad enough luck with injuries already, we've now lost Summerville who looked so lively Sunday not to mention the Captain. When you consider what's already hindered us preperation wise, and now we get this kick in the teeth. Why is it never the really really shit ones? 11 squad members in the injury room. Eleven. And it's August. Christ. You got to say, there are genuinely 6-7 first teamers there. Crazy.
  15. @Dan I don't want to complicate anything for you but was just thinking, if you placed a winning bet in midweek, could you use that tenner to bet again the weekend as it won? Likewise if you bet in midweek and lost, you couldnt get chance at the weekend? Just a thought, don't want to create any more work for you.
  16. Jesus Christ. Just announce Vlahovic Bayern, save everyone the time.
  17. I thought I'd put those into Skybet just to get the odds... 1070-1 Tenner wins him £10,710,00. The most amazing thing about the way John has approached this game is that he's going for the Worldy bet. He does not come off the tee till he nails a hole in one. One win like that and he win's it, that simple lads Go on John boy.
