Looking at that link and photo @nudge reminded me of an episode in Star Trek and The Next Generation episode ' A cultural Observation Post', just a tongue in cheek thought but you never know...

I don't know if this was bull shit or not but the old film star Alan Ladd who was only 5ft 6inc tall, they said that when he was kissing a girl in a movie who was taller than him they made him stand on a crate to make him look taller.

A happy 'spud" birthday @Storts from an old git.

Still a short little runt

Might as well keep this in the right thread, I have said all along that Liam Neeson would make an ideal Jack Reacher, although Reacher is 6ft 5inc tall, Neeson is over 6ft and weighs around 15 stone which shits all over Cruise at 5ft 4.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) Tom Cruise - Action/Crime/Mystery - 6.0/10 Bloody hell, I only watched this the other night because there was nothing else on but, although Cruise will NEVER be a Jack Reacher, I quite enjoyed the film despite reading the book and Tom Crusie as Reacher is a small, skinny little runt at 5ft 6 inches I think it is and Reacher in the books is 6ft 4 inches and built like a brick shit house.

I have been playing this Thunderball on the lottery lately, not megabucks but the occasional £1 a go with normally 5 lines at a £5 a shot and I have been bloody lucky. I put 3 lines on last night at a £1 a shot and won £3, this is not the first time as I have been playing this now for a few weeks and have won £3 a few times on one number coming up, normally me and the wife will put dosh on the Grand National or the Derby once a year but this Thunderball is now on our betting list.

'What's good for the goose is good for the gander' as the saying goes, kick him out, if this had been some tennis girl or guy who is ranked somewhere like 56th region they would have had their visa cancelled and kicked out of Aussie land and no one would have batted an eyelid, just because its Djokovic does not give him the right to stay and play and I just hope this might happen again in other countries who have this Covad policy and he tries to enter there and they kick him out too.

15:10:30 - January 11, 2022 WEBB KEEPS TREKKING OUT TO SPACE A diagram depicting JWST's orbit around L2 in comparison to Earth, the moon and the sun. (Image credit: NASA) NASA has again delayed beginning work on aligning the individual mirror segments of the James Webb Space Telescope, according to an agency timeline, with that project now scheduled to begin Wednesday (Jan. 12). The process will take several days and moves the 18 individual hexagons of the golden primary mirror out of their launch configuration. In the meantime, Webb continues its long journey out to Earth-sun Lagrange point 2, or L2. The observatory is currently 80% of the way to L2 and has traveled nearly 725,000 miles (1.16 million kilometers) away from Earth. To follow Webb's journey, consult NASA's tracking website for the observatory, which also tracks the deployment process. https://www.space.com/news/live/james-webb-space-telescope-updates
