Fact: Some fungi create zombies, then control their minds The tropical fungus Ophiocordyceps infects ants’ central nervous systems. By the time the fungi been in the insect bodies for nine days, they have complete control over the host’s movements. They force the ants to climb trees, then convulse and fall into the cool, moist soil below, where fungi thrive. Once there, the fungus waits until exactly solar noon to force the ant to bite a leaf and kill it.

Astronauts install a new solar power array on the ISS during an epic six-hour spacewalk The new array is half the size of the original one but will generate roughly the same amount of power. Two astronauts from NASA and the European Space Agency have successfully installed the first of six new solar arrays on the International Space Station (ISS). The mission is the first step in a programme to increase the power generation capacity of the ISS to meet future demands including Artemis – NASA’s planned crewed mission to the Moon, currently scheduled for 2023. Some of the original arrays have been in place for 20 years and are showing signs of age. The six new arrays will be installed directly on top of the existing ones and generate roughly the same amount of power despite only being half the size. FULL REPORT & PHOTOS

An afternoon visit to our daughters, one of her pet rats, Sushie, isn't looking good at the moment and very quiet and is not eating properly and she just likes nestling into you and being stroked, we just hope she can be around for a wee while longer for Kaiden's sake, the daughter has managed to give her some chocolate so that's not to bad.

That's the problem with films in episodes, I enjoyed Rambo - First Blood, yet when they made Rambo2 I didn't think it was good as the first and never bothered watching the follow-ups, the same as the Stalone Rocky films, I watched 1&2 but never bothered with the rest there is only 3 films I will watch all the follow-ups again and again as I enjoyed them was... The Godfather films Die Hard Lethal Weapon The Die Hard & Lethal Weapon films had a bit of action in them mixed with a bit of humour and I loved Lethal Weapon when they bought in the character Leo Getz played by Joe Pesci, that guy made me and the wife laugh our socks off.

Just watched the John Wick episode 2 and as per normal the first films of whatever are better than the follow-ups so I would give this 7.8/10, Another good film with Neeson is the Unknown 2011, I would easily give this a 10/10 and the end scene was a classic with Neeson as Dr Martin Harris in the fight scene giving an evil stare at the person he was fighting gave me the shivers,

The only one I have not watched out of the lot you watched was Meet Joe Black, if you like Liam Neeson then watch The Ice Road just been released, a good movie that one and as I mentioned above in a post some of the scenes on the frozen ice road had me sitting on the edge of my sofa. Just purchased John Wick 2 on my amazon account so I will be watching that shortly as I thought the first John Wick was brilliant.

Watched that a while back but that was more or less the wifes kind of thing and she had a binge session one night and watched the whole series, too slow going for me.
