  1. Happy with another win last night for us. Wrexham are one of the teams who will be up there come the end of the season so it was great to beat them 3-1.
  2. Not usually my cup of tea but been watching Married at First Sight UK on All4 for work and actually really enjoying it!
  3. Really happy with how the first 4 games have gone. One of 6 teams that are still unbeaten in the National League. Got a big test against Wrexham this evening but if we carry our approach to the previous games into this one, we should get a good result.
  4. I absolutely get what you mean. Used to happen to Grimsby a lot where we would be the better team across like 80 minutes of a game against a supposed 'better' team and then concede a goal against the run of play.
  5. Slightly above what we would usually expect in League Two. Partly down to missing live football but also because of our new owners and the sense of new optimism around the club at the moment.
  6. Fantastic game. We took the lead really early on and then stupidly conceded the 3 goals. It's a mark of how far we've come as a team over the summer though that we can come back like this. Best start to a league season in like 20 years or something.
  7. 0-0 for us last night in what was a hard fought out point against one of the favourites in the league. We looked like we were set up not to lose which is the kind of mentality I've always liked from Paul Hurst. 4 points out of 6 from our first two games is not to be sniffed at. More of the same please!
  8. I’d have liked a slightly more convincing win from us against Weymouth but I’ll happily take a 1-0 and the 3 points. We looked like a team who wanted to win the game which has been lacking in previous seasons. There was a clear desire to get on the ball and to move it around effectively. It was encouraging but I’ll not get overly excited about the season until I see it week in week out.
  9. Ours is Tuesday luckily so an extra days rest but still expecting 6 points!
  10. Excited for this weekend and to *finally* kick off our season!
  11. Can't find the tweet now but some absolute clown on Twitter was having a go at Grimsby fans saying we're 18th in the National League. It's because we've not played a game! And he was being serious, not even trolling.
  12. Seems to work if I post the images all at once so they fall at the bottom of the post and then edit it after.
  13. Fixtures Blah blah fixtures Table This is a table Results Results from this week
  14. Just tried it again and here is a screenshot of how my post looks before I post - am I doing it right as it refreshes and then the post isn't there.
  15. Yeah I always save them and do it that way but it just places them all at the end of the post and then doesn't save the post after I do that.
  16. Me again Is there a limit on the number of screenshots per post? Only seems to work for 1 for me and I have 2 fixture/result tables and a standings table to post and it doesn't seem to like all 3.
  17. Already do buddy but it's the tables I produce which hold the fixtures that don't post so I have to type it all out again
  18. I'll do that from now on then. Last time I checked that didn't work but looks like at least that does Thank you.
  19. No worries - appreciate you trying to work out what it was. I'll have to work out another way of doing the Gloryhunter so that I don't have to type it all out haha.
  20. Still not working. Stuck on the saving button again.
  21. And now it’s been postponed @Smiley Culture
  22. Unfortunately still gets stuck on the ‘Saving’ button whenever I try and post a table
  23. Trying to organise a few of us day tripping down so hopefully!
  24. Really excited for our season to start. We won't be tearing up the league but the players we have and Paul Hurst's record with us in non-league mixed in with our great new owners, gives me a little bit more optimism than usual.
