Just hope it doesn't get rained off!

Definitely, can't begin to think how I'd cope in that heat for 8+ hours.

Attending my first ever cricket match on Sunday. Got free tickets for the ODI at Headingley
  4. 29 outside at the moment but registering as 33 in our home office.
  5. Another signing for us. Bryn Morris signs on a one year deal from Burton.

Enjoyed the Women's final today. Rybakina did really well!

Djokovic v Norrie is live now on Centre Court. Norrie broke Novak's serve for game 1, with Novak then doing the same to Norrie for game 2.

Was impressed by Jannik Sinner v Djokovic - did well to take the 2 set lead and fought to the very end to give a good game to Novak.
  9. Grimsby sign Anthony Glennon from Burnley on a 2 year deal. Really rated this guy when he was on loan with us a couple of seasons ago and he definitely put in the work so delighted that we've got him back.
  10. Do not like their rebrand at all! Wasn't keen on their old badge but this is awful.
  11. Yeah really happy with that one. Was in the National League Team of the Year too so that makes it even better we've grabbed him on a free. He's got Championship and League One experience too. Played for Blackpool and Bury previously.

Kyrgios being a tool again I see. Moaning about the smallest of things, moaning that people are 'there to bait him' and then spitting in the direction of spectators. He's a child.
  13. Really happy with our transfer window so far and still plenty more to come! Niall Maher from Halifax, Danilo Orsi from Harrogate and Stephen Wearne from Sunderland have all signed for us on frees whilst we've also managed to keep hold of some of our key players that got us promoted (bar Ben Fox who's gone to Northampton) which isn't like us at all - it's a sign of the direction we're going in as a club under our new owners, and I love it. Still no Fabregas...
  14. Grimsby's bonkers rumour is that Cesc Fabregas is signing for us because his girlfriend has links to the area. And now our official Twitter are doing this...
  15. Absolutely buzzing. We don't half do it the hard way but delighted we are back at first time of asking. To do it without having spent loads on players and without having a so called "star" player, is a real testament to how good this team is and how well Hurst manages us. Three extra time wins against three teams I wouldnt have backed us to beat. Bye bye Non League thread, hello Football League again!
  16. £20-£25 on average for a normal home game. Our fans have been immense though and raised a hell of a lot of money to buy tickets for those who couldn't afford it. Agreed! Never been to the London Stadium so will be a new one for me but would have preferred Spurs or Emirates as you say!
  17. A lot of Grimsby and Solihull fans not happy about the £40 cost for a final ticket. I'll happily pay it if I can get there.
  18. It'll be another tough game against Solihull but I think we have a decent chance. After the last two games, we can do anything
  19. What a fucking result. That was an insane second half and extra time. I wouldn't have been upset if Wrexham won it. Both teams were great. Onto the London Stadium next weekend for the final now!
  20. Half time against Wrexham. The BT Sport bias is in full force. It's 1-1 at the break and we've looked strong. Wrexham players spent more time on the deck than on the ball so we've got to keep an eye on that as they look to throw themselves into an advantage.
  21. Through to the semi finals of the Play Offs now after beating Notts County last night. The BT Sport coverage was so biased towards Notts County so I was thrilled we proved them all wrong. Onto Wrexham on Saturday now where no doubt the coverage will be a wankfest over Ryan Reynold's lot.
  22. Grimsby can secure a play off place with a win tonight. I really hope we do, and it would be great to get through the semi final, get to Wembley and hopefully be back in the Football League at first attempt. We are good enough to get promoted and I feel if we don't go up, we might struggle a little next season. We've got the momentum this season, whereas next time I don't think we will as much.
  23. It's all there for me @CaaC (John)?
  24. A really good win for Grimsby against Chesterfield away from home. To win 4-1 against a fellow promotion chasing team will be huge for us and we remain in the play off places as a result. Some cracking goals by us too - at least 2 goal of the season contenders.
  25. Liverpool London - Picadilly Circus This one is interesting as there's LESS ads in the more modern one...
