Exactly a year to the day since we started the last season's game, let's get this one up and running ready for the new season to begin. In the four 'regular' versions of the game so far we've had a different winner for each. Will we have a fifth unique Gloryhunter Champion or will somebody become the first player to have 2 Gloryhunter titles? How It Works Precisely the same format as last year but for those who are unsure or who need a refresher: After receiving your initial team, you remain with them until they lose In the event of a draw, you can decide whether to remain with your current club or move to the opposition If you lose, you move to the team who beat you Only competitive competitions count so friendly matches will not be counted In terms of points, it mirrors actual football so 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. There will be a transfer window in January where you can move teams but it comes at a cost which is announced before the window opens. Your First Team Each season, we've changed how teams are allocated - this year, the control is back over to you BUT you must choose a team within the following criteria: Your team must not play in the highest tier (so no Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Eredivisie etc) No team can be picked by more than one player so it's first come first serve Your teams opening fixture must be before September 4th. This is to hopefully make it a little more competitive and fair, and we don't have people storming ahead with the top teams.

Rearranged our holiday to Lanzarote. Same hotel as last year with the only difference being we're hiring a car this time. Should give us a bit more freedom to explore!

Been playing a fair bit of Rocket League myself again lately whilst on my Switch. On PC, I've been playing Valheim and Havendock mostly.

Yeah, she's done herself proud this tournament. Gutted for her that she lost her game today but she's definitely one to watch for the future in the way that she commanded that first set and the majority of the second.

Really impressed by 16 year old Mirra Andreeva at Wimbledon so far. Her opponents just don't seem to know how to deal with her.

Rumours that Harry Clifton is leaving us for Barnsley a league above. Homegrown lad so will be a big loss if he does go.

Signed Kamil Conteh from Middlesbrough. Not seen any of him really but fans seem delighted.

Our admin are taking the piss with teasing this season's home shirt - we've had one tease image a day for the past 3 or 4 days. It's funny watching people have the meltdowns on Twitter and the fan forum though. We play our first game tomorrow night. There's a delay with the delivery of the shirts though so fans won't be able to get them for a while apparently.

Danilo Orsi left us for Crawley. Happy it's on a fee but disappointed he didn't get more minutes for us last season as whenever he came on or played, he was a major threat up top for us.

Happy with our signings so far! Abo Eisa, Danny Rose (the striker version), Toby Malarkey and Donovan Wilson. All established talents in the league. And then last night, we re-signed Charles Vernam on a 3 year deal from Lincoln which is a great signing for us as he really made an impact last time.

Scunthorpe seem to be splashing the cash a bit in National League North. Just signed former Notts County player Callum Roberts from Aberdeen. They need to be careful because if they don't get promoted this season, it'll likely be bad news for them!
