  2. Scunthorpe to win - 2.05 Over 2.5 Goals in Match - Luton v Tottenham - 1.53 Total - 3.14 Pays: £31.43
  3. Scunthorpe have a new owner too! https://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/news/2023/october/club-statement/
  4. Anyone playing much of EA FC? I've put in quite a few hours so far. Ultimate Team is still a pile of shite because of people paying to win and the unrealistic playing methods people use but enjoying Player Career and Manager Career, and I'm also doing a Premier League playthrough when I do every single game because I am a sad man.
  5. The referee wouldn't allow the medics to run across the pitch either so they had to run round the edge. Seconds really do matter with problems of the heart and whilst he wouldn't have necessarily known the severity of the incident, it doesn't look good on him.
  6. We won! Sounded like a good performance from us albeit with Barrow having the majority of the possession. We took the chances when they came to us for once and it's paid off with a 2-1 win after being 2-0 up.
  7. Saturday 7th October, 2023 Sunderland 3-1 Middlesbrough, 12.30 Hearts 1-0 Hibernian Antalyaspor 1-2 Galatasaray, 17.00 Juventus 2-0 Torino, 17.00 Sunday 8th October, 2023 DC United 0-1 New York City, 00.30 Corinthians 1-0 Flamengo, 01.00 Man City Women 0-1 Chelsea Women, 12.30 Villarreal 1-0 Las Palmas, 13.00 Young Boys 1-0 Basel, 15.30 Gent 1-1 Genk, 17.30
  8. Our form is shocking right now and we haven't won in a fair few games now. 4 losses and a draw in our last 5. Barrow are in alright form. Sadly, I see another loss for us.
  9. WEEKEND RESULTS Look at how much yellow there is in the right hand column - we had quite a few draws this weekend - and the majority of them have games tonight so a quick turnaround on choices is needed! @Viva la FCB is still unbeaten with St Pauli after another win. @Rucksackfranzose had success with Vilzing, @londonerlilie won with Newcastle and @Lucas beat Grimsby with his side Swindon. Another win for Grenoble puts myself in a better position in the league too. @Storts moves to Barrow, who face Grimsby next tonight. Top of the league @Stan loses with Leeds so moves to Southampton. That leaves draws for @RandoEFC, @Bluewolf, @CaaC (John), @nudge, @Coma and @Tommy - some of you play tonight so if you see this in time, let me know which team you want to go forward with out of your two options. Stan's loss and John's draw means the top of the table is tied! So much yellow (I hate it!).
  10. Not the heavy loss I expected but still a loss. The media and the bookies at the start of the season tipped us to do well but we really are struggling all over the pitch at the moment now that the wonder goals from Abo Eisa aren't happening whilst he's injured.
  11. @londonerlilie moves to Newcastle! Updated fixtures - table positions remain the same.
  12. Owner not giving any more money to the club, they have said they're not playing any more games at Glanford Park and will play at Gainsborough - and now Gainsborough have said they weren't even aware of it. It's such a fuck up by all involved and their fans must be going through hell right now.
  13. Predicting a heavy loss for us. Swindon have been scoring plenty of goals this season so far and we're struggling to find the net.
  14. Arghh. Tonali got a yellow but Alvarez didn't get a goal.
  15. RESULTS @nudge's masterplan paid off as they are now in Bundesliga with Bayern after their win in the cup. @CaaC (John) picked up 2 wins in 2 since the the last results, putting him in a strong position to chase down @Stan at the top of the table who won with Leeds at the weekend too. @londonerlilie steps into the top flight as they move to Manchester City. @Coma and @Tommy decided to part ways rather than stick together with the former losing their next game and joining Greuther Furth, and the latter going on to win their game and remaining with Kaiserslautern. @RandoEFC remains stuck in the U21 system but moves to Arsenal's U21 team - with opportunities to play league teams coming up again soon. @Rucksackfranzose moves to another lower league team, this time joining Vilzing. @Viva la FCB remains the only player to have not lost a game so far this season as he continues a great run with St Pauli. @Bluewolf grabbed a win with Derby for a vital 3 points to move out of the bottom three. @Storts moves to Gillingham. @Lucas is the only player with a choice to make - Morecambe or Swindon. The league table is starting to balance out a bit now so we can see who is truly having a good or bad season. And here are the next set of fixtures for all.
  16. A lot going on with them for a while now. Promised that he would come in and revitalise the club but he hasn't done that. If anything, he's going to sell up and leave them in an even worse position IF they don't fold first. Really sad to see.
  17. Saturday 30th September, 2023 Southampton 1-1 Leeds, 12.30 Rangers 2-1 Aberdeen Sparta Prague 2-0 Viktoria Plzen, 17.00 Real Sociedad 1-1 Athletic Bilbao, 20.00 Sunday 1st October, 2023 Houston Dynamo 1-1 FC Dallas, 01.30 Arsenal Women 1-1 Liverpool Women, 14.00 Le Havre 0-2 Lille, 14.00 Austria Vienna 1-1 Rapid Vienna, 16.00 Atalanta 1-3 Juventus, 17.00 Boca Juniors 2-0 River Plate, 18.00
  18. If only Gordon had got himself booked!
  19. I love when John breathes new life into threads that haven't had responses for a while. Whilst I'm here, can we replace the Grimsby badge with the newer one whenever there's time?
