  2. Eww. I forgot to put the fixtures in date order
  3. WEEKEND RESULTS Time to summarise the weekends results @londonerlilie carries on a good run of form with Wimbledon grabbing another win at the weekend over Sutton. @CaaC (John)'s first game as a Brummie resulted in a win for him too. It's now 3 wins in 3 for Gillingham and @Lucas. @Storts leads the table with a 100% record still in tact, winning 4 out of 4 games. @Stan also made it 4 out of 4 but takes second place on goal difference. @Tommy grabbed a win with Nurnberg. @Bluewolf is still yet to win a game after another 0-0 draw - this time it's a choice between Blackpool and Leyton Orient. It was a 0-0 draw for myself and Grenoble too - and I've opted to remain with them. 0-0 was a trend this week as @Viva la FCB also got a no-score draw so can choose to remain with St Pauli or move to Greuther Furth. @RandoEFC's Barrow lost out to Stockport so it's a move for him - they face Manchester United's Under 21 side tonight. We'll cross this bridge if it happens, but if Stockport were to lose, he may be stuck in the Under 21 system for a while. @Coma moves from Dusseldorf to Paderborn after they lost 2-1 to them. @Rucksackfranzose didn't have a great first match in 3. Liga, losing out to Viktoria Koln with Saarbrucken. Gaps starting to form in some areas of the table now
  4. I'm loving @CaaC (John)'s braveness in betting on actual scorelines. This week I'm going for the following: Over 2.5 Goals (Total) - Chelsea v Luton - 1.47 Over 2.5 Goals (Total) - Sheffield United v Manchester City - 1.53 2.26 at £10 = £22.63
  5. They've had a leaky defense for a few seasons. They are good at attacking so it doesn't often cost them too much.
  6. I don't think Pickford has a lack of ambition as such, it's just he has a point to prove after last season to have a better one this season with Everton and prove himself. He showed ambition when he moved from Sunderland to Everton after only one full season playing in the Premier League.
  7. Ben Foster has announced his retirement and subsequently leaves Wrexham. He's shipped a lot of goals this season already and has said his performances are not what he wanted so has made this decision. Kudos for not staying and just keeping the money.
  8. I feel slightly better that the second half of mine didn't come through either so!
  9. Earps and the team did their homework for that penalty. You could see on the graphic that the Spain player often shot to the bottom right
  10. I think our performances are definitely better than what we saw for the majority of last season. We've had some tough games so far and held our own for the most part. Mansfield looked better than us yesterday but the encouraging thing is we remained in the game. We need to find our best formation I think to utilise the new players we have better.
  11. This was our goal. Beautiful. Not going to get bored of watching this one for a while. https://twitter.com/SkyBetLeagueTwo/status/1693164463531446765?t=EfZ-qRhJIWdyHL7KPWlw9A&s=19
  12. Enjoyed our game. Mansfield look like a very good team and we were lucky to come away with a 1-1 draw. Our goal by Abo Eisa was stunning. One of the best I've seen physically at a ground. Wrexham and Swindon's score was interesting!
  13. Finally managed to get a ticket for our game. Crazy how most of our home games are sellouts since we got promoted - just shows how getting decent owners in helps with everything around the club and the town!
  14. WEEKEND & MIDWEEK Here are the results from last weekends games and any of the midweek matches. If there was a drawn, you've remained where you are (tempted to make this a new rule at some point until you get hit 5 games with a team or something and then you'll get your choice - but for now it remains the same). @Rucksackfranzose was the early game last Friday and lost out to 3. Liga's Saarbrucken so now he moves there ahead of tomorrow's game. @RandoEFC moved to Barrow last weekend after they defeated Sutton. Barrow then went onto draw with Accrington so he now has a choice who to go with for this weekends match. @CaaC (John)'s Leeds journey ended with a 1-0 defeat to Birmingham last weekend. @Bluewolf still is yet to win a game, or see a goal for any of their sides, as Reading lost to Port Vale last weekend, and then Vale drew 0-0 with Blackpool. A draw and then a win for @londonerlilie means they remain with Wimbledon and pick up 4 points from the last 2 games. @Viva la FCB avoided an upset in DfB Pokal as St Pauli bagged a 5-0 win over lower league opposition, but it was @Tommy with a big 9-1 win that steals the spotlight this week. @Coma also won in the DfB Pokal so 3 points there as well. @Lucas didn't seem too thrilled at joining Gillingham but 2 wins in 2 games has grabbed him 6 points. A first win of the season for myself gets me off the mark with 3 points and I remain with Grenoble. @Stan and @Storts both continued a good start to the season with Leicester by adding a 1-0 win last weekend, and Ipswich winning 2-0 against Stoke to keep both of their 100% records in tact. Everybody now has at least a point on the board!
  15. Yes it was in 90 minutes so I've lost yet another one
  16. It wasn't a great performance last week when we met Mansfield in the EFL Cup so an improved performance against them this weekend is needed. We improved A LOT in our win against Salford on Tuesday night so at least a point expected from this one.
  17. Criticized for not making much of an impact and then Ella Toone does that. Lovely.
  18. There's definitely a red card in this match at some point.
  19. Watching on a delay one end of the office whilst the other end have it on the large TVs. I can't move down that end either!
  20. Going for slightly shorter odds this week in the hope of at least some winnings on the board. Man City to win v Sevilla (1.37) Mo Salah - First or Last Goalscorer v Bournemouth (2.50) £10 at 3.42 pays out £34.25
  21. Good win for us against Salford. 2-0 with them going down to ten men in the second half. A much better performance from us and one we can definitely learn from and build upon.
